Oh...this was so sweet. I forgot how candid and likable Kyouko and Sayaka are together. Feels weird to say but there aren't enough marriage related fics in this fandom. For a relatively short chapter you did a wonderful job of imparting emotional meaning to the proposal scene. Also, those two lines about the sovereign nation of Kyouko and her being too much of an ass to be chivalrous got a laugh out of me.

Congratulations for finally finishing this story, and I wish you luck in completing Aftermath!

Great to see you finally posting something for this story! It is one of the few remaining connections I have to this great fandom, and I'm glad to see that you haven't given up on it.

Seems like a lot of set up here. I'm definitely looking forward to part 2 of this. Placing two perspectives at the beginning and "end" of Sayaka and Kyouko's relationship is a good way to show how far they've come together, and how people can contain such radically different versions of themselves inside them. You handle their dynamic deftly. I think Sayaka and Kyouko are both rather similar people in terms of how they act and view the world - which is why they clash so strongly in the anime, and why they make such an awesome couple. But it's easy to make the mistake of not distinguishing very well between the two on a more detailed level, but you don't fall into that. I've read a lot of KyouSaya fics where they were essentially the same person with different hair colors, which I'm sure you can imagine is not very interesting.

I don't think you should be discouraged even if writing this final story is hard or it doesn't ultimately satisfy you. I think the stories that are the hardest to write are the ones that help us grow as writers, and whatever we decide to write next, it'll be all the better for it. And I for one am eager to see the completion of a story that is nearly 5 years old at this point - older than Silent Melody! And I thought THAT fic was old. It's an awesome feeling once you reach the end, I promise!

Closeted love is always tough, on both sides of the closet door. Glad these two have each other though.

I like how vaguely creepy and all-knowing Homura comes off as to Kyouko. I feel like a lot of fanfic looses that about her, but it comes through clear as a bell here.

Lol this was pretty hilarious. Maybe not entirely realistic but still amusing. I look forward to the M chapter!

But yes, I'm so glad to see the result of our conversation coming out so well. Both of them were perfectly in character and god, that payoff was just fantastic. The classic "We're both holding out but I got soaked in the rain and you're in nothing but a towel after the shower" scenario; perfect.

I'm tempted to say this is cannon to Souls Beyond Time, considering one idea I had with that AU was as an official jumping point for people to make more fics. But Rigors is it's own thing, though this TOTALLY happened to some degree... Totally XD

I'm flattered that my work inspired this work and it's so well realized... I'm just glad we never saw that final argument... XD

Having finally read up to the last chapter, I have to say that I really enjoy this. None of the chapters feel stale at all, which happens sometimes with pairing-specific drabble collections.

The characterization you have for each of the girls works very well; both Sayaka and Kyouko feel natural, and their back-and-forths are really nice.

I don't mean this in a bad way at all, but I think my favorite chapter in this KyouSaya centered work might actually be the Homura-centered story - you managed to work together a lot of what makes Homura and Madoka compelling and I definitely felt a lot of emotion from that one.

Otherwise, chapter 2, 3, and 10 also stand out as some other favorites from this collection.

I can't wait to see more!

Great writing! Fun premise! Sayaka and Kyoko can be complete dumbasses with each other! It's adorable! I still think the titles worked! And Sayaka in nothing but an apron is the newest thing beyond Final Fantasy XV being released that's keeping my heart beating!

Is it weird that I actually saw a fan fiction of THAT EXACT SCENE (Minus food and the last part of course, I mean duh, why would sleeping be involved.)
