I loved it! I like fanfics focussing on the staff at Hogwarts because they all bring their own unique character. I love how you built all of them into a friendship circle. Well written too. I'll probably read it again sooner rather than later :)

You're right, it did take quite a depressing turn, but you handled it beautifully. This was a great last chapter for this story! The switch that flipped as soon as Rolanda said, "He was beautiful though"-PERFECT. And then the way she starts to go back to her teasing, unaffected act, you can suddenly see everything she's hiding. Well done on this chapter! You didn't disappoint ;) I hope to see more work from you soon!

This was a wonderful chapter its so nice to see the human side of the staff.

I think Rolanda would spring to mind often she is just that kind of person. I am pleased she had a good night.

Septima with her head on Poppy's lap was a nice image that shows the ladies know and are relaxed with each other. "She needs to be stopped" was a very good line.

I felt sorry for Poppy as a healer you would think she has a potion to help make her feel less fragile maybe she does not take her own potions. Flitwick was a nice guy escorting Poppy I wonder what he makes of the ladies and their antics there are not men men on staff and most of them are not nice people.

It's not often Percy is defended or thought of well. Still considering all he is involved in while working at the Ministry I think he was a Death Eater by the end of the last book who changed sides when the time was right.

I am pleased Sprout had a good time.

Poor Septima I hope she finds out Igor was trying to talk to Snape about the Dark Mark rather than anything she did.

hahaha Rolanda just kills me ;) Another great chapter! I really can't get enough of your writing and the way you portray all of the characters-they're definitely "in character" from what we see of them in the books, and yet your approach to them seems fresh and new! Love it :)

Next time just punch me in the gut, why don't you? :( lol That last bit just killed me though-on some level I relate to Septima and you've portrayed her so well that I could feel what she was feeling. Which really is a testament to how well you write! So really, great job on this chapter! :) haha And I loved the humor in the first half of the chapter ;)

A good line "it was hard not to reciprocate Pomona's good nature when one was around her." and I did like "Nothing attracts a man like apparent alcoholism."

I liked the insight into Septima and the sum up of Karkaroff he is a mystery a Death Eater yet one who named names and still managed to be head of a well known school.

Albus ensuring everybody had a good time was a nice touch a pity he did not excuse Harry from the ball or speak to him once it was announced as he did not have a good time at all.

I hope life becomes less stressful for you and I look forward to the next chapter.
