Mikaela Bliss chapter 2 . 10/11/2019 I love this idea! Have you thought about continuing it? |
BookQ36 chapter 2 . 1/20/2019 Mwahaha! I enjoy and admire the way your mind works. Thank you for including the actual culprits and methods in your endnote... otherwise I would have gone mad with curiosity! |
Chelsietx chapter 22 . 6/15/2017 Oh my- how creative! I don't recall reading these before. Each one is terrific, but I totally loved the one where Elsie wouldn't marry Charles until he wooed her. He was quite the romantic after all. ... and the bottle of champagne... wow! Just wow! |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/15/2017 I LOVE this story...thank you |
Chelsie fan chapter 3 . 8/20/2016 I have to review as a guest since I already reviewed this chapter once under my official account, but it is I, chelsie fan, here. I love this prompt from LC: "Please, for our next reading pleasure, write how Carson explains how he can ask Mrs Hughes to retire/ marry / want her (any way she will stay with him for the rest of his life) having never sent her a love, letter, flowers, read her poetry (with that beautiful voice), hugged, kissed or DANCED! with her and still get her to go with him. But he has to do all of these things to get her. Please include his wine ledger as part of the story." I still chuckle when I read this. As outrageous as it sounded at the time when you posted this, it turned out in canon that he DID ask her to buy a house with him and then later asked her MARRY him without saying or doing any of those things! (No wonder she was unsure of his intentions!). I'm guessing LC meant this to be a joke, but it's pretty much how he did it for real. The most intimate thing they did before his proposal was hold hands in plain view of everyone at the beach. The most revealing thing he ever said before his business proposal was, "Get away wth you." But I do wish we'd seen some of your more romantic version of his wooing her on screen. Oh, well. We got our happily ever after -mostly - which is more than I ever expected from Fellowes. |
LC aka LC chapter 1 . 5/15/2016 As always, clever writing, words, and the right sentiment. I got butterflies. Loved it! #pleasefinishwritingSTUBBORNLOVEforgrissom. |
suzie chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 My fave-Carson to Thomas: I am your father. Phyllis Logan, in an interview, jokingly speculated the movie may have the Carsons adopting Thomas. |
ozzlover chapter 22 . 5/5/2016 Lol:)) love it |
libbybell chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 When fandoms collide! As a fan of Downton and Star Wars (and YOU), I LOVED this! I am actually wearing one of my Star Wars shirt to celebrate Star Wars Day today, because I'm cool like that. :p This was just perfect. I don't know which one is my favorite. I loved the Mrs. P/Daisy one and the Hughes/Carson one. :D May the Fourth Be With You. |
JediMaster cfjr chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 This is Chelsiefan's son, Ms. Dagger. I love this! It's hilarious (especially the moral high ground part)! I got the very last part because I absolutely love Star Wars. It also works both ways because Jawas are short and its Ut"tini" because she's tiny. May the Force be with you, too. |
meetmeinstlouie chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 I. LOVE. THIS. Still laughing here...:) |
lemacd chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 Haha clever. |
chelsie fan chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 Oh, my STARS! You actually did it! We talked about this, but with everything else you have going on, I wondered ... But here it is! Brilliant! I can't even point out my favorite parts, because that would be all of it. You know we'll be needing the full script. The whole thing. |
Good Bo chapter 22 . 5/4/2016 This is brilliant! Superb x |
kouw chapter 21 . 10/23/2015 Charles is in such turmoil and you've written it perfectly. His thoughts are a little scattered - like they would be! - and he thinks of his wife and even that simply steadies him, until it doesn't. I think he is very shaken by what's happened and you've really painted that very, very well. |
