This one hurt to read. While Snape was never a good person to any Potter or their friends, he was incredibly loyal to Dumbledore. This just highlights that.

Oh wow... I love this! You've taken one of those tiny little canon oddities and twisted and turned it to make it into something so much more. Excellent characterisation, and a lovely concept. Great work!

thank you for sharing this here, in a place where these kinds of fanfics are highly sought after by one such as myself but rarely found these days. your writing style is beautiful and you have an exceptional grasp of the characters of severus and minerva. the scenario you presented was believable and the subtle angst was executed perfectly. this is definitely going on my favorites list. please don't hesitate to post more! ;)

This is Absolutely Brilliant! A bit of mystery, humorous, an OC I didn't hate, humorous, touching but not too touching, humer- I said that right? And an ending with an ah ha moment that makes the reader (or at least me anyway) go 'yes... Yes I get it' lol. You know, if it's not in the business of being completely cannon there's no reason Severus can't still be alive... I'd love a conversation where Minerva try's to recap other 'Negative Space' moments during the last year. Something like:
Sev- Did you catch the one in the hall way when-
Min- that was easy. But the one in February was a little confusing-
Sev- I was merely saying you looked nice
Min- Nice! I spent weeks trying to decipher that one
Sev- weeks? On that? But I sent another 2 days later...
Min- *blank thin lipped stare*
Sev- you've no one to blame but yourself for missing it then...

Sorry if that was a bit much, but a catch up between them has such potential, lol. Bloody brilliant Story! Enjoyed it immensely! :D
