Loving the sci-fi and greater depths into politics/government, especially Zero's interaction with X :)

You know what was one thing that bothered me with the Sigma vs Zero OVA? The ignorance of the setting. An android not yet registered in any known databases discovered in a middle of nowhere underground, and yet no one seemed to do more proper investigation after it. Thanks to convenient plot, somehow someone found a Wily lab that holds Zero, Zero crashes midway into a fight with Sigma, and even after this mysterious android takes down a Hunter squad and nearly kills Sigma, it doesn’t seem like anyone ever returned back to this mysterious lab and do a further investigation? Hunters, come on.
Back to your fic, Cain’s theory on Zero’s cause of insanity and the timing of his awakening is intriguing though it heavily depends on a set of specific conditions and Wily having insider knowledge about X’s hibernation capsule beforehand. And the way X interacts with this broken combat android is heartwarming - immediately assuring Zero that X isn’t a threat to him and so forth. I never cease to be amazed on how well put together and interconnected your X fics are in this unique world you’ve made for them.

Loved your fic, especially Cain. He kinda reminds me of what I'd imagine Light to be like. The interactions between him, X and Zero were all pretty interesting, as well as your explanations for certain things. However, I'm pretty sure Zero's helmet crystal has always been blue rather than green and that only his left shoulder has the stylized Z, while the other doesn't.

I enjoyed this thuroughly. I don't think I'll be able to write a full review of this wonderful story though. (It's hard, though I like to, sometimes it can be hard). Everyone's personalities and actions flowed accordingly. The explainations of Zero's failed boot ups made the whole thing make sense to me. I thought it was cute how X tries to perfect his humor whenever he gets a chance, and his relationship with Dr. Cain seemed spot on. I also loved his approach on Zero when he successfully woke up; choosing his words and actions carefully to reassure him and keep him calm.

It was sad to read how desparate Cain was to try to reason with the others at the meetings. I wasn't surprised from their feedback. Reploids are like humans but artificial, and even then they are more than that. It's more like a group of people is being treated like second class citizens, and when something goes down and it involves them, they're the scapegoat. Cain is a cvil rights leader but for replica androids. Historty really does repeat itself even in 21XX. Good thing he's a strong old man and he has X who is very optimistic and energetic too. He seemed to play the grandson role in here, which is cute becuase he's adorable. Especially when he's figuring out something new (like humor).

I felt sorry from Andre. If a kind human had heard him besides Cain, they would have seen just any other man fed up with his tiresome job. Only this man has not choice. He chose the right word, "slave". And Society seemed okay with it as long as that word doesn't get used to describe it. There is a confusing fine line between mad and angry and you see that more in hte later games especially X4 through X8 (excluding X6). Poor X is such a kind and gentle reploid who would rather use logic and reason through communication is forced to use well Force(many times; it's no wonder he retired in X7 thought the script could have been way better. you could do a finer job I'm sure).

I smiled when Zero asked X to join him in becoming a Maverick Hunter, not just becuase he saw X potential but also becuse he wants his(new and forever best) friend to be near him. They really balance each other out.

Anyway I guess I did review this properly after all. But I loved it nonetheless soo yay! I'll be reading the rest of your stories also. :)

This was the EXACT fanfic I was looking for as I was scanning the fanfiction pages for megaman fanfics! Thank you ever so much. I do plan on giving your other X stories a try, but this one will probably stay on my no 1 spot ! LOVED IT!

Ah, just dropping in belatedly to say I love this story SO. VERY. MUCH.

Much.. Much love. Very little critique to offer. X trying to offer a final joke was great, and seeing the stumbling children do stuff and interact was enjoyable.

I like the clever explanations for things you come up with like why Zero malfunctioned in his first attempt at awakening. I love how you describe the internal intricacies of X and Zero's minds.

The subtle humor and personality for each character is endearing and interesting.

I like Dr. Cain more than in previous fics. He's more personable here. I think the weakest part was with Andre. It seemed to go overboard a bit. Maybe that's because I didn't think Andre would be so hostile and rigid. Convenient to get the MHs to trust Zero I guess.

With your fics though, I've come to terms with how much more interesting the conflict in X and Zero's world is without a (basically) 'zombification' virus.

I didn't know that Dr. Cain had a drinking problem. I must have not noticed it in your other fics if it was present.

Great read and nice ending. Quite a library it is! I'm sure to read it many times over the years.

My email never notifies me of fics and authors I am interested in. This and Supernova are incredible. You have a knack for dialogue and beautifully address the quirks of difference between humans, robots, reploids, X, and Zero with insightful cleverness. I find these deeply interesting and so...right! I am very grateful you wrote these and I will review the rest shortly.

I can't say what my favorite parts are because so many are intricately crafted. I feel like I'm watching an in-depth character driven show/anime and it's fascinating.

Good lord I love your work. Flows beautifully and really adds some depth to the characters.
