Hi, I love your stories but the use of your 'if' clauses annoys me very much in the reading process.
Or maybe that's a use I'm not familiar with but I always thought that 'if' was either followed by present tense or preterite.
If he stands me up/ if he stood me up.
Other than this, I do love your stories :)
