It doesn't matter what you write...it is wonderful. But I especially like the before they were a couple time. We know they will get together, but all your speculations about just how that occurs are so delightful. One of the things that makes you stand out is your ability to write from both Uhura's and Spock's point of view with equal credibility.

Is pre-frission a thing? I love how we see it...and they don't. At least she doesn't. Nicely evocative of the San Francisco chill and damp. You pack a lot of character development into a small space.

So, Spock's night turned out better than he expected. Uhura has his sweatshirt and will be his student yet again. What is so diverting about this episode is it is how life goes. You insert little "discoveries" so seamlessly into your work. That is why the eventual epiphany always makes perfect sense. We readers don't say it often enough...but thank you!
