Well, this story certainly took an unexpected turn! I've never understood why so few people recognize/acknowledge the chemistry between Kirk and Uhura. His interest in her in now canon and even their sniping speaks to an enduring interest in one another. In large part due to his tragic past I've always felt that Kirk never developed the tools to engage in a mature relationship with a love interest and thus resorted to grade-school behavior in his relationship with the cool and somewhat aloof Uhura. Still, it is gratifying that Kirk and Uhura found each other in another lifetime.

I am in shock, my mouth is hanging open and I cannot believe the ending for Spock, Uhura and Kirk! Just found the first story and then this one. I thought for sure you were going to end with them deciding to be a threesome and living happily ever after. I so did not see the murder/suicide coming. Great story.

even though this was not the sequel I had envisioned, this is a beautifully written validation that Jim and Nyota are meant to be in any universe. Bravo!Loved it. how about another but with a happier ending with them in love and ready for the futher.

The ending for Kirk,Nyota and Spock was a shock. So tragic in one universe but hopeful in another. I love this story.
