the one I want to see made in to a longer story is the trouble with bonbon story there are two more and those are coming home to company and water rescue

I stumbled across your challenge and decided to read all six of your ideas. I see that you had enough interest to go with option three (Discovery) already, however, if the writing bug for a second story comes up, my vote is for this one here. I cannot wait to see how Bonnie reacts to Ron's connections, and if this is going to change her perceptions of him in a good way, or if it will play out like it did when Ron both became stylish as well as when he initially earned that 99 million dollar dividend on his food invention. (Even if it seems he still has some of it) Or, is this going to be something of an epiphany for the brunette? How will both Kim and Tara deal with a different Bonnie, and will wee meet an actual Rockwaller we can stand and is in any way supportive of his youngest daughter...or is there more than meets the eye there as well?

In any event, I do hope that you consider playing with this story a bit as well.

Lots of similarities to Water Rescue, but less info. Another fine start.

Seriously, how do you writers do this? Come up with so many good ideas for stories?

If I have to put them in order, I'd go with:
Water Rescue

Another one that, IMO, works very well as a one-shot. It feels like a RonBon, which is ok (after all it is your story), but I am a die-hard KP-RS shipper at heart.

Please sir, may I have some more? And more? And more until it is finished. Wow, totally hook me and then - nothing. Please finish, thank you.

Lots and lots of potential with this one. A solid start to a noir-flavored story. Me like.

Obviously not the first post-Graduation story, but it does come from a somewhat different direction. I'd be more than willing to read the continuation.

Nicely done. I think this works better as a one-shot than a multi-chapter story, but don't let me stop you if you want to make a longer story!

i would love to see this one as an actual story. but if its post diablo maybe make it pre diablo and have a ron/bon pairing.

Meh.. Number 5 sounds like it might make for a good tale.

After reading all of the ideas, I was most interested in reading more about "Covert Assignment," "The Trouble with BonBon," and "An Old Friend." I like these three because of how you handled Ron.

"Covert Assignment" presents a Ron who is ever watchful of Kim, with him protecting her from the darker side of evil rather than the mostly buffoonish villainy of Kim's "rogues gallery." This Ron appears to be more forceful and wary. He more alert to danger and pays very close attention to detail. The rest of his personality is unwritten, as this is the only side of Ron we have seen.

"Trouble with BonBon" presents a Ron who is friendly and outgoing, even to people who have tormented him for years. This Ron functions well in high-class society and is reasonably wealthy. He also uses his mechanical skills to the fullest extent. This Ron appears to be slightly goofier, but not enough to interfere with his skills.

"An Old Friend" and "Water Rescue" are both very similar with their approach to Ron. Both have Ron been separated from Kim for a number of years, yet still have him trained by Yamanouchi and have him in possession of his MMP. Both have him with Rufus working as Kim's silent guardian until it becomes absolutely necessary for him to reveal himself. These both have Ron being secretive, and having him show very few signs of buffoonery while maintaining a friendliness about him. Ultimately I like "An Old Friend" because of the tease about Ron's parents. This provides an additional layer of depth to Ron, not seen in "Water Rescue" as it stands now.

Ultimately, "An Old Friend" would be my preferred choice, but I won't have any complaints if any of the others are picked. I am not usually a huge fan of the KimxRon pairing from the show, but I still enjoy reading KimXRon fics as long as they do a good job of developing Ron as a character. I feel like too many focus on Kim when Ron has the potential to be one of the most complex characters. But enough of my ranting. Ultimately, I'll probably still read any one of the options you choose; "An Old Friend" is just my favorite option that you presented to us, the readers.

1.- Covert assignment: boring. Nope
2.- Kim's discovery: Looks promising
3.- Coming home to company: Evil kim? interesting but ronxshego? weird. Nope.
4.- Water rescue: Interesting
5.- The truble with bonbon: Nope
6.- An old friend: Also interesting, but far less than "water rescue"

So, I'd go with Kim's discovery and Water rescue

Apparently, you have a thing for Ron. Any of these stories would be a good place to start.

However, to me Kim is Batman, without most of his angst, and able to go toe to toe against anyone, and able to team up with anyone without coming off like a fifth wheel.
