Well, I'll give you kudos for tackling a different pairing. Also, this premise could have happened between these characters. I can see Spock being pragmatic about his post-combat needs, turning to his most likely source of relief, but then his relief telling him to tend to it himself when there was no future in helping him. Hopes and dreams may be strong, but no one wants to be used.

An unexpected but fun pairing. Apparently Vulcans have brass ones.

ditto on the other previous reviews. My first reaction -" Oh NO." However, the characters were so kind and real and funny that I was able to suspend disbelief and go with it. And I had to give myself a hypothetical, symbolic slap on that centimeter line!

Hmmm... Not sure what I think about this. I don't hate it, but I'm not sure if I like it either. *mulls it over* Hmmm, maybe it's because Chekov doesn't do anything for me. I did like that Christine wouldn't just let Spock use her - that was good. I also liked that she went and apologized to Chekov for doing the same to him. I don't think this pairing will make it on my obsession list like OTHERS I could mention, but it wasn't bad.
