it was good to have that expansion into the story to expound on Mr. Knightley's family and how he has aged well... Well, it was probably the influence of Emma.. :) who else.

that's funny. I often thought of mr. knightley as one who would be cool under pressure. I suppose it is plausible that he could react in this way. He is such a rock to everyone. I had a little difficulty imagining his reaction thus... I thought he would be a bit more hands on and would like to know what is going on with Emma. and her cure

oh, no Emma got shot... I agree it was good to have Mr. Elton there as the vicar and all... Last rites and holy unction stuff... Tunnel vision... hmm did not think of that... Very good twist. This version somehow makes Mr. Knightley more dashing. I know his passion for Emma runs deep. It is good to see it.
