Cooldown chapters are always nice. Having a breather in between pain and misery is a must. Ha.

Glad to see Miir forgave Krin, though he was a bit more lighthearted about it than I figured he would be. Guess that's what a good healing session and revelation at a temple does to sour moods, huh? I'm really liking those two trying to build a solid relationship and stumbling at every corner. Just hope it doesn't ultimately end of tragedy. Feels like poor Miir might just give up if it does.

Finally a nice, slow chapter without any real heartbreak or betrayal. I gotta say I'm liking Miir and Krin's quiet interactions here. A nice contrast to how carnal the previous ones were in the story. Their relationship seems much more genuine and innocent despite both characters being pretty reserved.

Speaking of carnal interactions, it's a shame you have to tone the content down. Thankfully the narrative was always the main selling point here. It would be nice if an uncensored version could be uploaded elsewhere though.

Just so you are aware, this story contains sexually explicit content, meaning it really should be rated MA. MA-rated content has not been allowed on this site since 2012, meaning it violates the Rules & Guidelines we all agreed to when we signed up for accounts. Not saying you can't write it, but saying this just isn't the place for it. There are plenty of other sites that would gladly take it, including, but not limited to, AO3 and AdultFanfiction. You could also write a watered-down version to stay kosher with site rules and post an unabridged version on another site. That was a pretty brisk chapter. Seems like Miir's decision to help his old flame was all for naught. And now he's made an enemy out of even more people. Yikes.

I wonder how long Krin will last. Seems like everyone Miir comes into contact with either leaves, betrays, or tries to kill him. It'd be nice if the story had a steady relationship between two of the beast races.

That's certainly a dilemma . . . Could I maybe float a suggestion? I have no way of knowing if this is something you've already considered, but if you use the two character concepts as aspects of his personality, you could maybe channel your difficulties into developing that internal conflict, where he finds himself capable of violence but still feels distaste and/or even shame. That, in turn, justifies hedonism as a coping mechanism. Good luck, whatever happens . . .

Wonder what happens next. This is very interesting. And by interesting I want Ulfric and Miir in a very complicated situation that may or may not involve a wall.

Started off quick and feisty just like how the chapter ended, yes mm fun times
