Either way, the rest of the review still stands. You did an amazing job with this, death and it's consequences are very difficult to portray properly, especially sudden deaths, and you'd been writing it very well. Great job.

Man I love the direction this is going in! It's so well written and I rarely find stories about Souls family that have a feel to it like this one does. Mostly they lack direction, or a plot which this one most definitely has. I love your grasp on the characters and their relationship (again many people ignore the wavelength altogether) and it just feels so authentic. I love the characters you've given to Souls parents, looks and personality, and I can't wait to see Christopher's reaction to Souls outburst and Maka as a whole. You're one of the few who write Maka as a strong woman molded from fighting evil on a daily basis and not a frightened girl who'd never taken a step into a social situation. Just-overall greatness. I can see this being an actual story arc, ova, or other canon piece of the Soul Eater universe with the way you've written it from just about any aspect. It measures up well.

TL;DR Great story, wonderful characterization, interesting plot and direction; I look forward to more.

i would love it if you updated this story again it's really interesting seeing the different ways soul and maka react to soul's family plus i want to see maka break through to soul and get him out of this cold loner depresion vibe he's been unconsiously giving. (that's not to say i want you yo rish it in a single chapter no ending will be better then a rushed ending) i'd love to see where this goes next but you don't need to update this if you don't want. bye
