It was sooo good

This is an interesting take. I actually agree with another reviewer on this point: I think the Regina in the TV show, and the Regina we see here, has more than a slight _death wish_. We see it several times when she's in dire straits and tells the people with power over her exactly the thing one would expect to set them off, like at the execution scene. I think there's a big part of Regina Mills that wants to die.

I don't think the canon Regina is _conscious_ of it, though. I think she tells herself her taunts and attitude are bravery, or a way to show indifference, not what I think they actually are, an attempt to goad someone into pulling the trigger (or releasing the arrows).
