Man, I hope you update this soon!
I mean, I'm not proud to admit I skipped a lot (I'm a pokeshipper and I'm not that big on Egoshipping. I won't even mention the Advanceshipping one haha), BUT I loved this. I could feel the character's emotions and their hurt. It was truly amazing, some of the one-shots featured here entered my list of favorite one-shots for sure.

Aaaah, I wish we could see her reaction after reading the letters.

I'm not that into Egoshipping, but I like to see Gary and Misty teasing each other, so I enjoyed this one XDD
I'd love to see who won the case though XD

Misty befriending all of Ash's rivals makes me laugh XDD.

Yay! Another chapter! This wasn't a long wait either ;)
This piece was really cool. I love how you chose to center it on Delia this time. That first scene was really powerful, especially the emotions conveyed through just staring at that little mark on the plastic. It was nice kind of unwrapping the why's of it as the story progressed. Why was she so disappointed to have a child? Why did she try so hard to ignore the warning signs? Why would having a baby be a bad thing?
As soon as she looked in the mirror it became clear. The dark bruises covered up with caked on make-up was the give away, and suddenly the quote at the beginning made a lot of sense. But I will get more on that later. Anyway, so Delia became so angered at herself for letting it happen, becsuse she was going to be hurting herself, and more importantly the baby. She was putting it at risk.
I love the fact that you decided to make Giovanni the father becsuse I've always liked that idea.
The ending was very nice becsuse it showed a kind of promise that she would save her baby.
So the quote was really prominent in this particular story. Delia had let violence become a regular part of her life. Living with Giovanni, boss of Team Rocket, one of the most powerful criminal organizations in their world, can't be pleasant. I'm sure it was a nightmare for her. But for letting it get as far as it did, there must have been a reason as stayed with him. However getting pregnant was the turning point in finally realizing that maybe he was a reason for her to finally leave. You played around with that quote wonderfully. I really liked this!

I get what you mean about it being hard to write when you aren't feeling it. I'm glad that you were able to give us readers a new chapter xD but if you aren't feeling it then don't feel pressured to post it. You should be happy with your writing! However, all of your chapters have been wonderful so far, so I wouldn't worry too much. Haha angsty/happy pokeshipping stories are your specialties xD you handle those great. If you need to write one of them to get your creative juices flowing then by all means go ahead.

Hello my friend, it is wonderful to see you again! I am always happy to see an update for this fic, really, it makes my day -

I think it's cool that you took the time to explore Ash's aura abilities. sometimes I tend to forget that he even had them, hehe. So it seems that Ash hasn't really been himself lately, and it's because of the powers that he's obtained, and somehow he has ended up hurting his friends because he can't really control them.
I think it's such an Ash thing to do, when he goes out into the woods away from everyone as an attempt to try and practice it, to figure out how to control it, so he doesn't end up hurting anyone else. And even though he's kind of hurting himself (what with the split lip and all) he's trying to fix it.
But I love love love how Misty was the one who kind of takes it upon herself to go out and find him. He's her best friend after all. And thy aren't some clueless ten year olds anymore, they're 19 and grown, and big enough to understand the situations around them better. So she understands that he hasn't been himself lately, and she isn't afraid to yell at him for being stupid, and for hurting others. I think she kind of pulls him out of that trance that he's in. Like, there's some kind of voice in him, as he mentioned, and it's strong, and maybe taking over him. But Misty is ready to help him overcome that. Because she sees that little but of himself still there beneath it all, and she'll help pull him back. She'll help fix him. And it's something kind of beautiful about their relationship that you captured. That they can fix one another, that Misty knows him so well that she can honestly say she will fix him. I love how when she was talking to him, or yelling at him, more like, the blue sparks on his fingers kind of died down, like she is able to steady him in a way.
Idk, I thought that this piece was lovely. I really loved it, truly :) also the quote at the beginning was really cool to tie in with this. Nice work as usual!
I'm really glad that my reviews mean something to you, because I really just want people to know how much credit their work deserves. You do Deserve a lot of praise for this, I think. You write beautifully, after all. Don't say that this wasn't as good as your last, because trust me every single chapter in this series has so much soul and passion and deserves just as much praise as the next. Ok I read 'The Hat' and this chapter. And I have to say I'm pretty frustrated. Reading these and then the older story I can see Ashs mistakes in not sending the letters. He is pretty dense in relationships. But my problem is that you have yet to continue 'The Hat'.
I have to agree with the other comments that you do NOT have it continued. Especially reading the story type and the fact you say there's comfort in it. But reading it, I saw NONE at all. Did you mean to imply they get together? If so you cannot tell anything from the fact.

This was pretty hard to read cause this is one of the ships I think works. I truly hope you come out with either a sequel or least a continuation of this or the other story

THIS STORY WAS GENIUS! Let me just say the way you strung your words together was phenomenal. The descriptions and omg everything was just amazing.

Egoshipping! I must say, I haven't read a good egoshipping fic in a long while. So this was nice :)

Lets talk about this. Gary and Misty, even though they don't want to say it, (they'll never admit it) their relationship is a bit unhealthy. They aren't good for eachother, but at the same time they need eachother. And it's because they rely on eachother too much, and it's never going to be enough, because they are two very broken people who need someone to piece them back together. They try, to make it okay. But when one crack appears, it's nearly impossible to fix. They're the kids who were in the background, the angry teenagers who grew up and are still looking for rebellion. They are, as you put it: "the poster children for abuse, they were a romance novelist's wet dream and they were just became so accidentally indebt to the other that they just could not- would not- let go."

It's unhealthy. It's abusive. They're hurting eachother everytime their fingers touch. But they can't let go. They refuse.

Gary's jealousy! I must say, I really felt his anger throughout this whole story, through very word, it was amazing. I love how you capture his character XD and his extensive vocabulary of the word: fuck. Hahaha oh Gary. But really this was an amazing angsty fic. And the way you showed how the two of them play around with eachother just captures this unhealthy relationship.

"they continue to infiltrate minds and hotwire each other brains and brand each other's bodies, they continue to become actors in their own lives, masters of lies, just so that they can at least maintain what they have with one another." Love this quote. I really love all of them actually. I'll probably go back and reread this about a million times because this story was absolutely amazing, not to mention well written, but that's a given ;)

I LOVE THIS AAAAH. Okay, thank you for writing another masterpiece. I wish I could come up with a better way to express my thoughts on this matter but, aaah it was great :)

Yay it's good to see you again! This piece was a great dose of Ash sweetness. But it was also a little sad. I mean, even though they've been through hell and back together, somehow their relationship was broken. I mean, sure he could never forget about her, and she him, but I think that there is this awkwardness that hangs in the air where she was once there. They had to drift apart, and it takes a ton to muster up the courage to talk to someone again, when you haven't seen them in years. It's scary. And it makes things worse when you start realizing your feelings for said person. Ash was in love with Misty, and he is young, and scared, so instead of going for it, he backs away. These letters were a way for him to vent his feelings out. So it was a little sad, and unhealthy, as Brock put it. XD At first, I was thinking he sent them. But then all of a sudden Ash said he hadn't been sending them, and it was horrible! ASH KETCHUM YOU GET YOUR BUTT OVER TO THAT POST OFFICE AND SEND THEM OR MISTY WILL SICK HER GARADOSE ON YOU! Haha but it was sweet at the end, and you hinted that he did send them after all. Haha now I'm wondering Misty's reaction! Are you gonna do a sequel? ;)
