when will u update?r u abandoned this story?
antinomian chapter 11 . 6/23/2016
What a chapter. You did a really good job of building a story around Chikaru that is much darker and more interesting than the writers probably ever intended it to be. The whole school seems so much more fleshed out in your writing than it did in the manga.

antinomian chapter 10 . 3/23/2016
From this chapter, it seems like nearly half the school just needs to be polyamorous with each other. I like that Amane offered a convincing, believable explanation for why there's just constant sexual assault at that school that no one does anything about.

Nagisa was being pretty awful to Tamao when she offered herself while saying she'd never be happy, but I can kind of see why she did it since Tamao essentially tried to rape her a little while ago. Nobody seems to be completely in the right here (although Shizuma doesn't seem like she has done anything horrible so far, but that's mostly because she's not really in this fic very much). Yaya and Tamao are actually starting to seem like a good pairing and not just a "wow, these two both really need somebody, so I guess we'll pair them." It seems like Yaya is starting to pick up on Tamao's poetic nature.

Not sure how Shizuma's going to feel about Nagisa kissing two people who aren't her, particularly when one of them is her friend (Amane), and the other is her former romantic rival (Tamao).

I think it's interesting also that you're exploring the problems that come up with younger/older relationships, particularly in that age group. Amane and Shizuma probably have other relationship experience and know for sure what kind of people they want to be with, but Hikari and Nagisa have only been with them and therefore might wonder "am I limiting myself too soon, since I'm only like 15/16?"

I also like that the characters are maturing and growing so that no one is basically just a cute moe who's constantly getting attacked by fanatical lesbians like in the series.

Omg my emotions are running rampant!
Yusica Tamakori chapter 9 . 12/20/2015
One of the reasons I started reading this story is to see Yaya and Tamao, two people that have both gone through essentially the same thing, get together. The first eight chapters of this story spends a good amount of time building up on their characters and slowly taking their relationship into the direction I want to see it go. Seeing unlikely couples that actually make sense is something that always spurred my interests; and Yaya/Tamao is a very likely couple I could see coming the down the line should a second season to Strawberry Panic! ever make itself known. With how long it's been, it's probably not going to happen.

Finally, come Chapter 9, the two rejects, the throw-aways have finally come together! Something I've been looking forward to, buuttt... there's some sourness in there. I see you intent on closing this story at some point, as you've mentioned in your last chapters; but with how things are developing, I don't see that happening unless you re-read through your work and see how many things you're starting. I personally want to see Yaya and Tamao happy together, both are somewhat aggressive, more Yaya than Tamao, but I'm sure Yaya, as fun a person as she is, wouldn't mind somebody with some aggression in them; actually I'm sure she'd love it if her partner approached her with the same aggression, I can see some really steamy scenes between the two in my head actually.

If you want to end this soon, then you'd probably better start working on closing out on Chikaru's inner demons, conclude Amane/Hikari's thoughts and focus on Yaya x Tamao. As far as this whole first year students thing, you need not focus on anything for it, as I'm pretty sure not many of us would want to read about nameless characters with the Etoile; it could be something you could mention in the background while Yaya and Tamao come to closure with how their going to approach their relationship. It may be hard for some to imagine, but I can perfectly picture the two of them together after everything that's happened. An epilogue of one chapter following the after-events of such an ending, should you choose the persue it, would also be an interesting read.

I don't see an ending coming soon, maybe three or four more chapters would do it if you don't introduce anymore developments. You're pretty far, and now that are far, I would hate to see you dump the story due to loss of interest. If you are, however, uninterested, then it would be understandable, as forced work would not be fun to read.

As far as corrections go, I will agree that sometimes you have characters monologue. I'm not against OOC'ness, as it shows some development and Artistic License, which you are clearly in the right to demonstrate. I would think that Tamao showing aggression like she did was appreciated, as Tamao's been thrown away just like Yaya, so yes, aggression is expected.

It is your story, yes, but I do implore you to not throw away Yaya and Tamao's new relationship, they really need it, and if they were to meet you in real life, they'd probably thank you. I hope to see you finish this story, hopefully with Yaya and Tamao in eachothers arms at the end. Good luck to your endeavors.

First off I want to say I am very much enjoying this story. My fav Strawberry panic pairings have always been Shion/Chikaru, Tamao/Nagisa and Yaya/Tsubomi. Lol, I don't think I could bare to see Chikaru and Shion with anyone but each other...however, seeing Yaya and Tamao together is incredibly refreshing and plausable.

They have both just gone through some pretty intense heartache, and both are in the same circle of friends. Perhaps, even though it started as a mutual understanding of heart-wrenching feelings, (feels like friends with benefits sort of relationship at this pont) in each other they can start to forget the heartache and build something stronger and truer. Like Tamao said, maybe in 3 months, 6 months, a year's time it will evolve into love. I really hope they end up together! Hikari and Nagisa can take a hike!

I think your Chikaru is mostly fine. In the show she's saccharine and sweet to a fault which is a bit unrealistic. She's very manipulative in the novels and manga and I can totally see her helping students to help herself. She's not that innocent! I am not sure I could ever see her punching anyone though, no matter how riled up...that's more a Shion thing. Miyuki and Chikaru were the more cool, calm and level-headed presidents.

Overall the flow is pretty good. Not many grammatical errors that affect the reading of the story. Pacing is great. I think your characterization is fairly decent too. It's hard to envision Tamao say f*** though, lol. Some of the dialogue between characters feels a bit monologue-like though almost like they are not talking to the other person they are supposed to be chatting with.

All-in-all I think this story is great and I hope you continue. You have opened me up to the Tamao/Yaya pairing...lol, don't think I can look back now! :)

Niiiice. This is turning into School Days: The Strawberry Panic Edition. Crack-pairing stories should do that more often. When a pairing is inherently messed up, why not build on that and go for maximum mess?

That was such a wonderful story! The way you wrote this fanfiction urged me on to read more. You described everything wonderfully with such great detail!
Lunar Adept chapter 8 . 5/27/2015
So Tamao and Yaya are finally going to make an attempt at a relationship. I like that the two acknowledge that they don't yet love each other but certainly feel fond enough and relate to each other enough to give a relationship a shot. And Nagisa! First she's adamant about Tamao finding her own love, and yet at the same time it's obvious that she had at least SOME feelings for our lovely poet. And now that she actually sees someone else taking the initiative to claim Tamao, she's beginning to feel the tiniest bit of what Tamao (and Yaya) have felt. I can't wait for more of this!
antinomian chapter 8 . 5/26/2015
Your Chikaru is so creepy! I'm excited to see more of her. When I watched the show, she just kind of seemed like a cheerful popular girl at Lulim, but...you've crafted her as this tormented spirit who uses puppets to cope with her pain or something. In the show, we don't really see anything defining about her character until the last 2 episodes when she tries to cheer Nagisa up.

This chapter kind of makes me think that Tamao judged Yaya earlier because Yaya had become/done what Tamao herself was afraid of becoming/doing. I like that they're giving each other a chance, even if they aren't in love yet. Dating is how a lot of people fall in love - most don't just avoid each other and semi-flirt until it's time to burst into church buildings and interrupt ceremonies ;-). Then again, maybe the Strawberry Panic girls don't know that, since they're pretty sheltered from the world.

It's sad that nobody feels sorry for Tamao over the ceremony interruption. I can see everybody thinking the love declaration was romantic, but people probably expected that Tamao and Nagisa were together before that happened, so I figured at least one person would cast Tamao as the poor, spurned lover. Maybe not, though. Shizuma was way more popular at the school than Tamao was, so if anybody really felt sorry for her, it would probably be the younger kids who idolized her and had less exposure to Shizuma (who never showed up for anything except that anyway).

Nagisa's conflicted feelings for Tamao are interesting. To me, it always seemed like she let Tamao have *just enough* hope to not give up, which was somewhat cruel considering she probably had to know Tamao lusted after her around the first time when Tamao groped her (which was what, the first episode?).

It's a good point that Shizuma did a lot less to "earn" Nagisa than Tamao did. Tamao was always there for her versus being semi-there yet always pushing her away. That's a confusing situation.

Also, poor Shizuma with the parents and the arranged marriage thing. I hope she finds a way out of that (although I don't know how she would; in my own experience, leaving your parents is DIFFICULT, particularly when you've grown to financially rely on them the way Shizuma has).

I'm glad she got into college though, particularly since she kind of skipped life for the last year of school.

Great update. I'm interesting to see how this unfolds.
