I have to say this is one of the best Rurouni Kenshin stories I have read all year! Please keep writing, you have a awesome talent for telling stories in wonderful detail and making the reader feel as if they are actually there. Keep up the great work!

I love your story! I don't usually find that many good "sick-fics", as I like to call them, but yours is one of the best! You really should write an epilogue!

*blink* I don't really know what to say about this chapter. I'm confused, yet I understand. I don't know how to explain it.

You tell 'em! o Lots of people on this site need to get lives. I'm sorry, but yaoi is just not my thing. Most common yaoi couples I've seen so far are Kurama & Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) and Ken & Davis (Digimon Season 2). Yahiko does seem very OOC, but as you said & I've read, he's pretty much on his death bed & most people would be weak & non-acknowledging if they were as sick as Yahiko. I hope I can get my Rurouni Kenshin fan fiction up, which will probably be one of the weirdest ones on this site since Kenshin gets turned into a demon by a sorceror... but ANYWAY, keep up the good work! ;

Mah'velous. This was amazing, I loved it. Very original and interesting.

The best part for me was when Kenshin told Yahiko not to worry anymore, and Yahiko asked why.. For some reason that really grabbed me...perhaps because I was reading it at 3 AM and was about to pass out, but more likely because you had made it so convincing that he was going to die and he didn't know and ! . err I digress.

Very very clear and descriptive imagery throughout. :)

The only negative aspects I could possibly see would be two things. The first would be the 'father' thing...not that it's really that OOC for Yahiko, but just the word itself seemed to stick out. Perhaps it's something that loses in the translation...like how "ni-saamma?" can turn into the more painful BIG BROOTHHER in dubbed anime.

The only other thing would be the fox in the last chapter...though I am an insane advocate of foxes (I have way too many fox stuffed animals and statues) I think that the flying fox was slightly out of place. The chapter istelf was great in sumation with the wish and counter-wish. I think perhaps since the fox-character is not an earth creature, it's relation to an existing earth creature might have been what made it awkward.

But I'm a nitpicker. This was marvelous and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I hope you don't mind my long review ;

Interesting way to bring the story to a close. I would definitely suggest an epilogue though! I want to see what happens when Kenshin wakes up and goes home to find everything all right again. You just know he'd be a bit baffled, _
