Lovely chapter! You know, of course, I'd love for Erik and Christine to reprise their duet from Don Juan Triumphant, only with it playing to a happy conclusion, just as they themselves have! There'd still probably be some idiot out there that'd try to kill "The Phantom" onstage, but hey - a phangirl can dream, can't she? Love it!

Christine to the rescue! I hope Erik can make it up to Elanna; poor man!

Oh, my gosh! Even considering all things, I didn't expect Erik to go all "Phantom-y" on Elanna! Is he alright? I hope HE isn't suffering from the same ailment as his mother! Poor Erik and Elanna both! I hope all gets set to rights! :-(

Oh, NO! Not poor George; please don't let him die! Good riddance to Tristan, though - man, Maela and Tristan are dead, and Phillipe is about to be arrested - maybe? Glad everyone else is ok! I still can't get over how quickly Henri blamed Erik for Maela's death; he has no idea that Erik may never totally forgive (or certainly forget) about that! Glad Gustave wasn't around to witness all of that tragedy.

Another great chapter! Filhound, you have done a great job fleshing out secondary (and lesser) characters and making us know and care about them; not an easy task when you have such powerhouse protagonists as Erik & Christine! :-)
