Thank you. This was really sad, but oddly fitting. You really did the last ending justice - more justice than the original producers had.

I absolutely adore this! Your writing is just as eloquent and flowing as I expected it to be.
This story is a fabulous elaboration of the last episode.
There's a certain kind of melancholy that is obvious in the dialogue, the very actions of Ciel and Sebastian. The sadness is a main part of this but another part (that I thought of, at least) was responsibility.
Ciel believed it to be his responsibility to ensure that Elizabeth didn't damn herself. And later on, he realized that his responsibilities were diminishing.
Very haunting in a somber kind of way. Fantastic job. (:

Too sad...such a tragic story

This is amazing. I would've never expected a Black Butler fan to write something such as this(that sounds a bit rude, but that's not what I'm intending to do). That was very deep, I was almost in tears. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous and silly, but that ending and eveything overalI was great! I was also awestruck at times. Everything is so well done, including the characters. I wasn't very fond of the anime ending, but I still liked it because of the way it was done, and this somehow indubitably made me enjoy it even more.

Enough of that. Thank the person below me (literally) for telling me about you. That sounds like I'm forcing you but I'm not. I am just trying to state who told me about you.

Excellent story. You have a knack for taking a story we all think we know, and filling in the blanks with a fantastic mystery. Elizabeth is revealed as a bit wiser and stronger than fans of the anime alone might realize, which is good. And for those that still don't like her, the ending should suffice. I thought that the core of this story was deep and poignant. However, I also love how you were able to bring such life into the interactions of the 'bit' characters as well. This is one I will read again, and I will be looking forward to reading about any other episodes where you want to fill in the secret we are all dying to know!

Oh, and, "Familiarity breeds contempt?" HYSTERICAL!

Creepy, sad, well written and beautiful. I loved how Elizabeth showed some of the mettle we see in the manga, though her end pains me. Although he was worried about her immortal soul, it was still a raw deal. Once she began to struggle, he should've reconsidered. Maybe stuck with his original intentions and taught her that as long as there is life, there is hope? Yeah, not so much for him, but definitely for her. Still, Tanaka's take on it was sweet. Loved what was in the box.

An excellent revisiting of the end of the anime-one that makes a deal more sense than the canonical one. Not to mention I'd been wanting to throttle that pink dervish myself for years now, so all in all, very satisfying. I hope this marks a long career writing for Ciel and Sebastian.

...oh, and for other things as well of course. Certainly...

Very nice, my dear! Quite Gothic and dramatic... interesting idea to write about the end of the anime.

I wondered what the plot was until Grell showed up to collect his prize.

LIzzy's conversation with Ciel about not wanting a perfect farewell and wanting to move on was...painful. it would be a difficult thing...for all of them. But Ciel is a little too self absorbed to notice their pain at losing him again. It would have been kinder to skip the goodbye. They said goodbye at his funeral, after all.

Nice story! Very descriptive. from smallsmiles (smilingcrescent here on ff dot net)

This fiction shows that you put a Lot of effort into the plot it's wonderfully written and horribley sad. Poor Elizabeth she can't get a brake ever! Wow her last moments must have been truly horrid. Killed by your love offel. It's a good plot twist though, it's good ciel feels free from his burdens I guess. The animes ending was rushed and lizzys part didn't make much sence. She would clearly know he wasn't dead it left a lot up in the air conserning her. You tied that up lol good job it's retchedly drak but good.
