SongBirdie chapter 3 . 8/31/2018
Not something I ever thought about for HP but one that would no doubt happen in a boarding school. :) Funny, well written, Snape is IC, and I love the little details like the female teachers yelling at him, sex ed being denied for silly reasons even for wizards and him blackmailing Dumbledore for a raise.

Sheankelor chapter 3 . 3/1/2016
Perfect way to negotiate a raise. All in all a lovely tale - made me smile and giggle and grin the whole way through. Pisa is a treat, Severus' mental conversation was just right, and the pacing was perfect. Thank you for sharing!

starry eyed dreamers chapter 3 . 1/9/2014
Very funny and great characterization! I really enjoyed Snape and Dumbledores talk in the last chapter, as well as Flitwick saying that the Ravenclaws did their own research, because it seems very fitting to Ravenclaw house. :)

Moi chapter 3 . 11/2/2013
*snickering madly* Reminds me of my ex-sports teacher when I asked him if he needed a written excuse as to why I wouldn't take part in that day's swimming classes. Haven't seen him waive off ANYTHING with such speed before. Mind you, I was around 18 or 19 at the time, it was in the middle of the school's atrium and I managed to keep a straight face. (Luckily, six of us girls had to share the boys' classes with a male teacher, as the female one who had the regular girls' class would likely have simply said "tough, use a tampon".) The joys of embarrassed male teaching staff.
Good for Snape. At least he's managed to get something out of the whole situation. Let's just hope the girl won't fear to suddenly turn pregnant, as Snape omitted to mention what would make the egg stick to a woman's womb. Or another option (as my mother used a similar explanation as Snape when I was apparently five): What use are men then anyway, biologically speaking? *grinning devilishly*
Your story really was a treat! :) And Snape dealt with the situation admiringly. Chapeau!
Cheers,
Moi
YeahYouWannaKnowMyName chapter 3 . 10/26/2013
Perfect. "How do you explain to a girl why they are bleeding? Shouldn't their parents do that?"I have actually wondered this fairly recently, and am greatly amused that someone took the time to write this. Severus deserves that raise.
