Well, it seems that Severus and Petunia are becoming serious indeed-but every time he leaves for Hogwarts, he risks his life. Seems to me there's a solution there somewhere...but clearly it's one you're not going to have them find.

There's a simple solution here; Severus leaves Hogwarts as soon as he can take his NEWTs, and he and Petunia go off...somewhere else. Alas, I expect they won't think of it.
