An interesting story, good dialogues, grammar spelling etc. Just one thing that keeps bothering me is your element of surprise - the lack of it. The glow in the dark thing and where it leads was a bit predictable. Also if you added a sideline story, as in not just a case but also them having their own story/conflict while the case goes, would have made it much more exciting, like in the actual series. All in all good job, keep writing and improving!
