For some reason the first time I read this story I missed the last chapter. duh!

Glad I finally rectified that as the last chapter was perfect and after your "Hot Chocolate" torture, it does my heart good to have them back together.

I liked the slight role reversal too, Rusty has clearly grown, and it was nice to see Sharon feel comfortable enough to break down in front of him and have Rusty take care of her for a change!

aahhh this story! It's basically everything that I fear will happen in the show. Heartbreaking.
And UGH SO PLAUSIBLE! That whole scene in the morning of their last day. Could totally see it happening. (I mean hoping with all my heart it won't, but if they do take him away - he'd totally be in denial until the last second then have that kind of reaction.) And Sharon asking him to give the new situation a chance... and then the pancakes.
Perfect! But also, SO SAD!

Only comment I wanted to see what the cards said! Otherwise Loved every bit of it and the writing was great.
