Ok I hate to rain on the parade but as a teacher Tommy is looking at serious jail time by having a relationship with Kira. That does not stop some teachers but if you read the news you know that they are found out sooner or later. Tommy would not do something this stupid. Sorry.

Don't listen to the other person about Tommy's age because one night while I had nothing to do I decided to try to figure out Tommy's age and I got that he's about 25 years old going by Dino Thunder time, so no he isn't too old for her. :) Love this story

Tommy is simply far too old for Kira. He's at a bare minimum 10 years older than Kira, given that he had to go through 4 years of college, and at least 7 years for his Master's and Doctoral studies. People always seem to forget this fact. You don't just go from an undergraduate degree to a Doctorate! If he went straight to college after graduating high school, then 18 (being a conservative guess; he was likely 19, or at least very close to 19, when he graduated) and 11 gives you a sum of 29, perhaps 30. Then you add the time he was doing research/working for Mercer, and that gives you at least the age of 30-31 before he started teaching at Reefside High. That's a difference of 11-12 years from most high school seniors, maybe even 13 or. I know some may not think much of it, and some may even be able to make such a relationship work. Great. BUT, there's simply no way around the fact that there is such a massive gap in age, and given that you have Kira still living at home, it's logical to assume that she's still in high school, and he's her teacher. That fact alone could quite possibly get him fired if the principal were to find out, and with very good reason. Please do not take this as an attack on you, because that is not my intention at all. I do apologize if you are hurt by this, but I simply cannot find anything good to say about this pairing. Especially when Kim and Tommy had such a strong connection, and she's right there, ready and willing to at least give it another shot.
