How do you tell someone that they just cracked you open and you're happy about it? Like this, I guess. This was incredibly beautiful. I see fanfic with real individuals, not anime characters, so I have absolute visions of what Makoto and Haru look like in my mind and the way you wrote this story allowed me to see this as a cinematic film. I could see every detail of this play out and hear the dialogue. It's an AU at this point in time (knowing that Haru does follow Makoto to Tokyo), but oh man, if he hadn't...this would be one of the paths they might have traveled. And the best possible ending. I adored this, truly. The writing was everything I hope for in a story: emotionally rich, in character and well-crafted. It's one I'll return to read over and over. Thank you.

This is so beautiful, I cried with how you portrayed both Haruka and Makoto in such non-OOC but angst way. I really can imagine them being emotional like this, and I felt the pain that Haruka endured while waiting for Makoto. That was sharp, literally I became a human waterfall, in the middle of working hours XD

I will personally add this up to my Faves here at FF. Thank you for writing this beautiful masterpiece and I hope you write more of this.

I am crying. That was so sad and beatiful... the story as well as your writing

I just started reading this at about 1-2 a.m. and damn, that was so awesome. Really. I especially loved that scene where Makoto confesses in front of the whole crowd, I just don't know you just... have a way with words, I guess. You made that part so lively I felt like I was one of those people watching them (and taking photos lol jk). Ahhh what am I saying again senseless things, I just can't express myself very well with words - unlike you do .
Btw, you mentioned that this was a long one-shot, I thought I'd give it a try and 1. yes it was LONG. xD but 2. as soon as I've read the first few sentences of this fanfic I was immediately captured. I don't know how you did this but it kept me on going on reading it! :D Magic? Perhaps.

So I read this a while ago, and favorited it a while ago, and as I was scrolling through my favorite Makoharu fics today, I accidentally clicked on it. Well, I wasn't planning on almost crying today, (again), but it happened. This is seriously one of the best Makoharu I've read, and I've read a LOT because this ship is my freakin life, and like, yeah, it's fucking great.

Omg... I hate angst fanfics because I hate crying ;-;. This is my OTP and this broke my heart so bad ;-; I would have loved to know about the dark decitions Haru made when makoto left. I also hated makoto for leaving everyone behind! ): so sad! Well congrats :) u managed to move an shake my emotions! 3

Id say if this story is meant to be a one shot, it's already very good. But this theme and storyline can be easily streched into something much bigger and intense! It would be great if you can write prequels and sequels to expand the story! I mean, it can be so much more dramatic with that boyfriend, Haru's reaction to the bars n drunks, what happened in the past (not that it really matters :P) etc etc.
