Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA! WAIT A MINUTE! What's happening here!? Did I SKIP a chapter?! *Looks back at Chapter 6, before coming back* Nope, I'm on the last chapter. So what in the world happened? I was expecting OCs wooing Hiccup and Astrid, and then the Wish Enchantment just POOFING away, leaving us with confused Berkians and heartbroken Teens (except for Hiccup and Astrid, who'd be relieved). But I guess that's just me. lol XD

So thank you for the plot twist. That was unexpected. However, despite this, I'm glad that everyone's getting married — especially Hiccstrid. They deserve it after that fiasco. lol XD

Man, you really love the meetings gag, don't ya? It's in several in your stories. Not that I'm complaining because it never gets old! XD

Four engagements in one week is the tribal record in this part of the Northland, and tied it, only to beat it at 5? What's all that about? Is there an actual record or something?

"The last thing I want is another broken wishbone!" - I really love this last line, and it really sums up the entire story nicely. Though I think it would've been great if it was "broken fishbone" instead. But that's just me. lol XD

This was a really entertaining short story and I'm so happy that I read this. I'm so ashamed that I didn't read this sooner. I really missed out on this. This would've gone perfect with the Fanfic Panel Discussion book if I had read them hand-in-hand. But oh well. You live and you learn, I guess.

Okaaaaaaaay. . . this just got bizarre. Hiccup and Astrid are acting weird. Well, weird-ER. I blame the Wish. It's totally putting some kind of enchantment on everybody. Everybody's just acting weird. O_O

I mean, seriously, Astrid giving up in defeat and allowing the enchantment of a chicken breastbone to win? That's it, this is not Astrid; she's a Changewing imposter in disguise! I knew they were excellent chameleons, but THIS? This is bordering on the level of LEGENDARY PROPORTIONS! lol XD

I was kind of expecting Stoick to act all "marry Heather, son, because it's been decreed by Destiny and Fate" and all such nonsense. I mean, since we're on the subject of OOC characters and Mary Sues and/or Self-Insertions and everything. And since the Wish has already affected everyone else. But I'm glad that Stoick isn't forcing him.

Uh, I fail to see how Hiccup's an idiot and is apologizing. It's not like he ignored Astrid again or had fallen in love with Heather out-of-the-blue (which I was expecting because of the Wish enchantment). He was fighting against this whole thing, but Astrid was the one who was so passive and letting it happen. Like, seriously?

Also, just because Heather was on the way to Berk when Ruffnut made her wish, DOESN'T MEAN that Heather couldn't and wouldn't have been affected by the Wish Enchantment. It could've happened. In fact, I would strongly argue that if it didn't affect her the moment the wish had been made while on her way to Berk, it would've affected her the moment she stepped onto Berk. She could've FULLY intended to just do a trading agreement, but the moment she stepped on Berk soil, the Enchantment fell upon her and thoughts of pursuing Hiccup's hand in marriage entered her mind. I bet you she'll be herself, like everyone else, the moment the Wish Enchantment is gone.

Anyway, as strange as this chapter was, it was funny and I enjoyed it. Though, if Heather isn't the person he has to watch out for, then who? And what will happen to Astrid in the next and last chapter? I guess I'll find out on Chapter 7. See you there.

Okay, this chapter was just goofy! I should've expected it would get to this point (the marriage part), but I didn't . . . for some strange reason. Totally cracked me up and I enjoyed this a lot.

I was unsurprised by the Thorstons wanting the Twins married ASAP. I can totally see that happen because if I was them, I'd have had them get married the moment they were of marriageable age. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Though the Twins really lucked out with their lovers not having parents and the Twins' parents wanting them GONE and everything. That's just so them, you know? lol XD

I have to say though that the more I see Misti and Snotlout, the more I'm actually starting to like it, strangely enough. I mean, realistically, Snotlout wouldn't be able to cope with a woman who worships him but doesn't help him problem-solve or do anything that will balance him out or be compatible with. I can see Snotlout get tired of it eventually and quite possibly become bitter. However, since this story is all in the name of fun, and since this will happen for a few days before the Wish disappears, I'm not going to get too much into it.

But yeah, I'm actually surprised how serious Snotlout is taking this. For a Mary Sue he just met two days before, and knows little about. But he's willing to stand up to his bully of a father in her defense and convince him that she's good for him. I have to say that I'm really impressed. She, despite her being a Mary Sue, ends up changing Snotlout bit-by-bit. Unless that's what Mary Sues do and I'm just oblivious?

Speaking of Snotlout and marriage, it's making me want to read "Snotlout's Bride" again (which I was planning on doing down the road). However, I need to read "The Heather Channel" first, then "Hiccup's Bride" before I go down THAT route. Unless you'd prefer that I start "Snart's Saga" after "The Heather Channel" before "Hiccup's Bride" and "Snotlout's Bride"?

I have to say that Hiccup and Astrid's conversation was very interesting. It's almost like being in a couple's counseling session with you being the therapist. lol XD This is actually giving me a couple of ideas about how Astrid stopped giving him the "honey and the hatchet". Like I need more ideas after already having 100 on my to-do list that I haven't even TOUCHED yet. lol XD

Heather, huh? Well, at least it's not an OC with a Night Fury companion. That would've been a nightmare. lol XD While I kinda expected this, why Heather and not a Mary Sue OC?

Hahahaha! I have to say though, this conversation between Heather and Hiccup was solid gold! I saw what you did! You lulled us into a false sense of security when they were chatting about the events of the whole week and Heather was genuinely shocked, but then she went into the whole, "Marry me when you've had enough of blondes" routine. Though I have to say that before RTTE and maybe even Defenders of Berk, Heather would actually make a better match than Astrid. I'm sure I'll have a SWAT team at my door for saying that, but it's true.

Also, don't think I didn't catch those subtle references to "Heather Together". I saw what you did there! I'm on to you! lol XD

This was a really great chapter! Probably one of my favorites so far. Keep it up! On to the 6th chapter! XD

Man, Fishlegs is becoming a downright nuisance, isn't he? Though I have to say that it's hilarious and Hiccup and Fishlegs chatting about the ways perfect characters come into a canon world is just absolutely hilarious and spot-on!

Hmm . . . I'm disappointed. Anitra isn't anything like how I thought she'd be. But she is a Mary Sue, so I guess she's not going to be what I'd thought she'd be. But . . . it's not really as satisfying as watching the Twins and Snotlout getting their love interests. But I guess that's probably because Fishlegs is somebody I like versus the other three, so maybe I . . . I don't know. It's difficult to explain.

I do have to say that the Twin Screening was absolutely uproaringly hilarious! I kept snickering and cackling to myself. The Twins are so easy to write, along with Snotlout, in my opinion (even though I've never written them before).

Though, I do have to admit that her spouting off facts and stuff like Fishlegs would be one thing that I could imagine an OC having if they were going to be Fishlegs' love interest (without the Mary Sue part).

I really loved how you had Hiccup bring up the worry that he and Astrid are all that's left with the Wish to mess with. I'm curious to see what will happen with them. I'm torn between Hiccup ending up with Heather or with an OC that's similar to Misti, only with another Night Fury (that kind of OC for Hiccup is so common it should be meme).

Another great chapter! Can't wait to see what happens for Hiccup and Astrid next chapter! See you in Chapter 5. ;-)

I have to say though that I love Hiccup's logic to all of this. It makes sense. If they're so busy with their love interests, they'll be too busy harassing the Tribe. All-in-all, everybody wins. Except maybe for Hiccup and Astrid, the only two with common sense. lol XD

Ugh, Fishlegs! Pairing names? Seriously? lol XD

Aaaaaaaaaaand we get Snotlout's too-perfect Mary-Sue girlfriend. Jolly good, jolly good! It looks like Helheim's frozen over by Frost Giants. lol XD

"I think I made a witch angry at me. She sold me a potion that was supposed to make me taller, it didn't work, and I asked for my money back or else I'd tell everybody that she was a fake. She wriggled her hands, mumbled some strange words, and the next thing I knew, I was falling." - Okay, I have to say that this is probably the most plausible and believable story I've ever heard from a Mary Sue that fell from the sky or got lost in the woods. Skall, brother! My respect! _

"Misti Reese"? Yeah, it's DEFINITELY one of THOSE stories. lol XD

"Please tell me that this isn't happening? Please tell me that Snotlout didn't just find a perfect girlfriend?" - Yeah, I'm afraid he did. Oh, do you see that? That's Helheim frozen over by Frost Giants. lol XD

I really have to say that I don't get the violet eyes thing. Makes no sense. Are people able to even GET those?

Why am I sensing innuendos during Misti and Snotlout's conversation? Or am I looking too much into it? I know that there's stuff like that in this story, but I'm not sure if I'm reading the conversation right.

I actually WANT Fishlegs to get a girl. Poor guy needs some love. I'm hoping that it's a girl that can cook. I can totally see him falling for a girl like that. _

Let us see in Chapter 4, shall we?

Wow! This was certainly an interesting chapter. I was definitely expecting an Eret-like OC, since we know that she's into really hot and buff men (from the films, the show, and in the "Fanfic Panel Discussion" book). But having love interests who like getting into trouble like her and Tuffnut definitely did not enter my radar. Well played, sir, well played.

I laughed at the part between Astrid and Snotlout . . . though I cringed when Snotlout slipped up concerning a certain . . . mentionable item. I couldn't help but smirk when Astrid kicked him in the shins. Serves him right. lol XD

I'm actually more excited about Fishlegs getting a girl, just because the poor guy needs some love . . . preferably from somebody who's NOT his dragon or his mother. I'm a little "meh" when it comes to Snotlout. Though I can totally see him wanting to scream and hide when said dream girl ends up acting like how Astrid acted around Snotlout when they were patrolling for the Screaming Death in order to get him to stop flirting with her. That would be hilarious! That way, we see that sometimes dream love interests aren't all they cracked up to be.

Also, don't think I didn't catch that Flynn Rider reference. I'm on to you, boi! lol XD Though Ferncookie is an odd name.

I love how Hiccup is wisely stepping back and observing the potential mayhem that may ensue from this. lol XD

Also what is WAFF? And what's with the whole "breaking the fourth wall" that everybody keeps talking about?

Another great chapter! And I loved and laughed every bit of it. On to the third chapter!

I KNOW that I said that I was going to read "The Heather Channel" again to review - and I was - but then I saw this and noticed that this was inspired from the "Fanfic Panel Discussion" story and I knew that I just HAD to read this and review! It's just too good to pass up! XD

Also, if the Twins are going to have a focus in this story, why aren't then on the character list in the story statistics? I'm curious. Especially since this is RUFFNUT'S wish that's coming to fruition, so I figured that Ruff and Tuff would be next to Hiccup and Astrid.

I'm really happy that you wrote this and even more so that you did this just for the fun of it. Nothing else, just for the fun! Love it!

I really enjoyed this prologue. I'm glad that the Twins get some air time and how well you've shown their dynamic as brother and sister. It's a little disappointing that we don't get to see more fanfics of the rest of the Gang in this Fandom. As much as I love Hiccup and Astrid, it would be nice to see great fanfics of the others as well. The whole episode made me laugh, and also felt sorry for Ruff at her melancholy attitude about not having any wishes come true. I have to say that I really loved the wishbone tid-bit in this prologue that will catalyst many problems for the Gang (or pleasures, depending on the viewpoint). It's just so . . . butterfly-on-the-scale-esque. XD

I couldn't help but smile at Ruffnut's views concerning Hiccup and Astrid. It so fits her. It also kinda makes sense due to Ruffnut's comment in the first film when she says concerning Astrid about Hiccup, "She could do better." I mean, at first glance, you would never think that they'd be able to be compatible (even though we both know that there was no such thing in medieval times) as a couple, yet they're able to pull it off, and Ruffnut envies that a little bit (though she'd rather get eaten by a dragon than admit that), which causes her to make her wish.

Again, this was a great first chapter to kick off the short story. I'm really glad that I ran into this before reading the others. I'm so excited to see what'll happen in the next chapter.

Whoohoo, another perfect short story.

The beginning of each chapter was catchy and had a nice repetitive ring to it. But let's take a look at the premise. It plays on the "you get what you wish for" idea and true enough, wishes do come true at times. I was under the impression that the wishbone was a dog bone, a femur maybe but it was a collarbone instead, I guess.

The ending was kind of clichéd but happy. The "broken wishbone" was a nice touch. Adding this one to my favorites list as well :)
