And this is exactly why April is so loved and so popular because she is just like this you have wrote what Shane said about her so absolutely perfect .

Reading this made me feel so happy if only to read it in fanfic to know someone else feels about April as I yes I wish someone anyone on this stupid show would see her as the awesome person she is so this was brilliant to read.

It's been a very long time since I last read a fanfic, especially a fic about Japril (I can see I'm not even logged at the moment, well whatever) and I just need to say your story is amazingly written and makes me yearn for more, so right now I'm going to check your other stories.

Thank you for that, I definitely hope something like that happens. It's so good to see something about their couple that also develops a part of their personality. And I do hope the same people who hated her at the time and like her right now understand how stupid it is to hate a character because she wasn't there at the right moment, I mean I didn't even know fans blamed her for that, considering Shepherd didn't even get killed. More importantly, it wasn't her fault. Glad you pointed this out!

I love these aspects of April's character, the badass trauma surgeon, and the kickass mentor. She's definitely the best teacher of her group if not all the attendings and she'd have anyone's back alright. You totally nailed the whole insight of it.

I really wish we'd get this on the show, between Shane's guilt, his year's general incompetence in acting like actual people, April's observation skills and general good heart, and it's gold.

April's a whole lot smarter and stronger than anyone gives her credit for, but the show keeps screwing her over to make others look good, so I adore this story.

Jackson's little eavesdropping was sweet as well. Loved the way Ross earned brownie points with him and how April's reactions effected him.

Totally made me smile, which is more than the show has. Cheers.

This was great! So sweet and for some reason, I think that it's so in line with Jackson's character for him to just creep on her to make sure she's okay lol.

Kissing her and walking away? So painful lol. If that happens on the show, I might scream mainly because Jackson is still fighting against his feelings for her like at the end of this. I like the conversation between April and Shane too, and yeah, I wish people would stop blaming her for Derek getting shot :)
