This is incredible... I first read this at Walking the Plank, loved it instantly and it has remained one of my favourite fics. Every time I read it I get a feeling of devastation and a surge of hope at the same time. It is just beautiful and not only the best thing you've ever written but one of the best Harry/Severus pieces I've ever read.

Great job, I really enjoyed that...though there was some confusion with all of his memories swirling around...but I loved it! You kept them in character, which is sometimes challenging. Kudos to you!

Hmm. . . an interesting perspective on things. I do enjoy Snape and Harry stories a lot, and you really have mastered both their characters in this peice quite well. I imagine this what Rowling's Potter will be like when he is sixteen, too. Excellent work!

Very nicely written. You've worked the symoblism of the vase in well, which makes for a powerful final line: 'I am the vase. I shatter into a thousand pieces.'

There's a slightly surreal quality to this too, the way that it slips between past and present.
