So this is a really good story, and even though I don't like the short chapter format, I love it. This is like two years late but I hope your health improves. You are a wonderful writer. Since you ended abruptly I hope that your illness did not errmm... Incapacitate you and you simply had important things to do over fan fiction. So uhhhh great story I hope you are ok

Wait, she’s got broken ribs and a serious burn on her side and she’s going to paint? What about getting her wounds properly treated? Before infection sets into the burns or the broken rib punctures a lung or something?

This story wasn’t bad but now it’s taking a nosedive into the unresearched, unrealistic universe, which is kind of a turnoff. I hope the plot improves soon.

I’m sorry... her age is WAY off. You said she was middle-aged. People reach middle age when they hit their 40s, NOT their 20s. You must be a teenager or something if you think late 20s is “old”. Although I WAS wondering how on earth a 40 year old woman could have a 7 year old sister. Her mom must’ve had Marian when she was like twelve or something. Well, this explains it.
