I feel like your jumping through the story to fast. Like one moment was on his way to Solitude to negotiate the Reach. Then he was in Karthwasten and he go news that Jordis was kidnapped. Then he's over in Morthal. I feel like the negotiations between the forsworn and Skyrim deserves a lot more attention.
