Umm, not sure about this twist. I guess I don't like his parents making him a cyborg for their own gain. I think you could've still had Raven be the only one in on his secret without having his parents do him like that. I did like Starfire's appearance in this chapter. pretty good. that flashback reminded me of cyborg's reminiscing of his father in the TTG! episode "dog hand" (which is kind of a stupid comparison to make, but whatever.)

Very, very intriguing. As Ive written elsewhere I always thought Rae and Cyborg was more logical than RaeBB. Both half human and half something else to provide a mutual experience yet the other part being different enough to avoid a pity competition. Plus Cy is a mature man whereas B.B. is still emotionally a kid. Your story is a fresh approach to the subject and I'm looking forward to watching this unfold. Write On!

For a first time author, this is pretty good. I'm interested in seeing where you take Cyborg and Raven in the future. I'm kind of hoping you throw in some memories of Cyborg when he was human.
