Zeivira chapter 1 . 10/16/2016
Second time I read this. Probably one of the best One-shots this fandom has (And let me tell you , i have read quite a lot). The characterisation is just amazing, and how you portrait both Prussia and Germany is breathtaking. They have a relationship that is both cute and happy yet melancholic at the same time. I can't read about these two without feeling a little sad. Just wow.
Not only how you write is good, also the story is great. There is action here, not just words: And time travel! I love those kind of fics, but I think this is the first time I read a good hetalia one. And the justification, not leaving any plot holes, are you?
I just needed to congratulate you, you really did an amazing job here. Kudos from Argentina!

Especially when Prussia gets taken out by the football. *cackles*
Tre Corde chapter 1 . 8/7/2014
Probably one of the best characterizations of these two I've ever read. Even if the delicious Groundhog-looping plotline had not existed, I'd happily read this anyway just to bask in the wonderful character interactions. Germany being his usual straightforward, workaholic self, and Prussia being...Prussia. The relationship between these brothers is marvelously dynamic, at times warm and touching, at times strained and uncomfortable and just a touch nostalgic. And then of course, the rest of the time it's plain, unadulterated fun.

I must say, there were moments where Germany was so purely /Germany/ that I had no choice but to grin. Like his talk of percentages—of course he'd run his time-loops through statistical analysis. And the talk of sample size and level of confidence? Icing on the cake.

As for Prussia, I found this to be particularly powerful:

"That harshness was a part of Prussia, he realized, lodged at the core and refusing to be softened by the passing of time, no matter how many pictures of baby birds Prussia bragged about posting on his blog."

Just. Wow. If ever there was a statement that could sum up his character in a single line.

I've rambled for so long on the characters, perhaps I should actually address some of the plot. Which was, quite frankly, awesome as heck. I still view it as generally peripheral to the brothers' relationship, but dang if it isn't some seriously engaging stuff. Action and drama and explosions and everything. I especially love that you gave us a plausible explanation as to what, exactly, catalyzed the time-looping process. It has a nice sense of closure.

Thank you tons for this extremely well-rounded and satisfying story!

:) good story and a neat storyline.
lithugraph chapter 1 . 1/17/2014
This fic gets better each time I read it - from the Harry Potter reference (which made me stupid happy, btw) to Germany's gradual realization to your complete understanding of character (Prussia understanding the bomber's mentality because he was her type was .tion!) The pacing/timing of the plot is spot-on believable, it doesn't jump from Germany's WTF? moment to him knowing the right sequence of actions to take to fix the problem. You brought out his human side by having him go through so many trials and fails - and also the accompanying emotions - before finally getting it right. Just because he's a nation doesn't mean he's seen it all and done it all and knows everything there is. I think it humbled him, making him feel so helpless.

And again, your work is so complete! It runs the gamut of drama, action, sci-fi/supernatural, and comedy...I love the part when germany basically said 'F*ck it' and took the day off.
Also, germany on a motorcycle equals yes please.

another (very) good story of yours, and it contains just the right amount of action!
after i read the summary i thought all the loopy-ness would be boring, and at one point it was: just before Ludwig started to get frustrated because of it. so, i think it's clever to make your character and reader have similar reactions at the same time because of the same reason, the result is effective:)
one question though (i don't know if you already answered?)
who's brother gerhard? HRE maybe? (therefore germany?)

Oh! This is like that movie! Groundhog Day! (best movie evah) I absolutely loved reading this, I truly did! It is also very nicely written, too.

Loved that! I liked seeing the adorable sibling interaction between those two. Also, you did an excellent job with the time loop concept. It was portrayed in a way that didn't get too repetitive and boring. Nice work.

Midday Lady chapter 1 . 10/5/2013
This was excellent. I love your characterization of the brothers and the way you show their bond. I enjoyed reading every sentence and now, when it’s over, there is just one question plaguing my mind… who was brother Gerhard?
