It shook me a few days (children/husband/shed kitten/relatives staying all giving me very little reading time), but I finally and sadly finished it. It has been on my list for a while and I was daunted by how many chapters there were but I am so glad I finally read it. I loved it. Loved your writing style and the plot. The romance and how Sarah wasn't a wilting flower and stood up for herself. I don't see her as spoilt, but rather self determined.

Haha jareth is totally bisexual in my headcanon. So he wouldn't be totally repulsed excepting of course that he is loyal to sarah.

Good chapter. Loved the imagery of the stone woman.

I'm all for Sarah occasionally needing help. And vice versa. Equal partnerships and all that. I'm also a huge advocate for destroying gender norms and stereotypes. I'm not hugely anti- damsel in distress but I'm not hugely pro it being overused either. I can't change a tyre but I'm the one who mows the lawns. People should work to their strengths and not what society deems appropriate based on gender or sex.

Saying all that there is something definitely sexy about a vengeful angry jareth.
