There needs to be more Havoc-Elric interactions. It's evident that he a d the team care a lot for these brothers, but I still wish there were more fics to pile on the fluff. Anyway, yours was a great one to add onto the pile. Havoc's nervousness definitely fit in this situation, but I'm glad to see him plow through it to talk this out with Edward. Well done.

Thank you for this story. I feel this sort of thing needs to be said in a LOT of fandoms where the main characters are children. Adults often don't shine through as awesome (parents/guardians in adventure series are normally either negligent, non-existent, or abusive so that kids can 'venture on)- it's actually one of the reasons why I love FMA, for example, because the people close to Ed and Al DON'T let them do whatever the heck they want. Riza, for example, confronting the brothers before they hare off to fight Barry Chopper. Or their Teacher, who knew she couldn't stop them from going on to Central, but gave them the information they needed to know to survive. There's lots more.

My feels. Because of course, we've all thought this at some point. We all did.
And so obviously everyone else must have.
And of course Ed must have.

But it's impossible to imagine anyone actually coming out and /saying/ it. Which is why this is so brilliant. I can't even imagine trying to keep everyone in character when doing this much dialogue on something /this important/. And so much emotion. But of course... you got everyone spot on. I could imagine all of the tiniest inflections in their voices and the slightest changes in their expressions in the exact animation of the show because this was just so in character and well done that I could believe it, and imagine it being straight from the show. Wow.

Go Havoc! Doesn't fit particularly smoothly into any continuity, but this is strong character work. The ridiculousness and the serious sides of both characters are here, which is nice.

The characterization, emotion, beauty, unique concept (I haven't really thought of this before, but good point!), and just the writing itself are freaking awesome! I LOVE seeing this lighter side of Havoc, and yes, he SHOULD be in more things! *U*
