Nice to see a fic about an alternate ending with a twist to it. Im actually hoping for more chapter for this story, maybe you can expand it a little bit before you end the story. Thanks for writing.

When I first got here I wasn't expecting to find such a good fanfic in just 2 chapters, I mean the emotions are there and they feel so real, and the characters are so well done it's not even funny, for example you did a very good job with Lucy, depicting her as a child full of curiosity and innocence. And the scene where Robin is vanishing where he says goodbye to Lucina and Morgan was soooooo good, it wasn't too fluffy and you managed to made me feel the pain, the sadness, the sorrow, etc.

Really good job you did there mate, can't wait for that epilogue lol.

Even though I'm not really a fan of dark stories of lucina stabs being kind of dark I enjoyed it.

Wow, this got updated! Heck, I remember reading this way back when and thinking "wow, this is a really touching, bittersweet story. How cool would it be if there was a Lucina route?" Now, lo and behold, it is so! And all the emotions are there. This story is simply superb. The characterizations are excellent and it really punches you in the heart. You can feel the friendship between Chrom and Robin and the love between Robin and Lucina. Damn, this latest chapter really sets the emotional tone. Glad you made Robin stay. I don't think I could've handled it if he left. It was bad enough that he didn't meet her in the first chapter!

And another thing, you portray little Lucina so well. Full of childlike wonder and curiosity. Simply top notch and seems exactly how a child her age would think and act.

The mention of a short epilogue gets me really excited. This is simply a fantasic piece you got here and I can' wait for more!

It was over a year since I heard from you mention that you might add in the Lucina ending, and I'm so glad that you finally posted it.

It still retains the same feelings that captivated me when I first read this so long ago. The same sorrow, the same passion, and even the same flow as the previous chapter. Time didn't seem to break the flow. The same iconic characterization of Lucy ebbing away that sadness and leading into humor also makes for an appreciated break from entirely being driven by tragedy and renewal.

I look at the site stats and I'm so glad this story has been getting a lot more popular. This is the hidden gem of the FE:A story archive, and it needs to be even more recognized.

Holy crap, I can't believe you actually uploaded the Lucina version! Considering when this was originally pubished, it seemed like one of those things that would never materalize. The original was one of my favorite stories on here, and this just makes that much sweeter.

This was one of my favorite one shots on here, so you could only imagine my glee seeing a second update. The writing is just so good, I mean this was just so well written. Plus the idea is pretty original and I could definitely see it happening. I really loved it.
