Interesting. Looking forward to this! It seems we have a ways to go before we find Sakura and Itachi interested in each other and Sasuke attempting to win her back. Can’t wait to see how that plays out - in the meantime, hopefully we’ll see Sakura obviously being a badass!

I'm a huge fan of ItaSaku and your fic is fantastic so far. I'm dying to know just what is going on and what's going on in Madara's mind, since he views her as his new pawn.

Sakura's attitude towards Sasuke is freaking refreshing and honestly, seems more likely given their past and all their interactions. And Naruto's own thoughts about Sasuke seemed much more realistic as well.

First of all, I would like to thank you. I have ALWAYS insisted that in a TRUE (accurate) depiction of Naruto bringing back Sasuke, it would end in Naruto's close-to-effortless success, bc I don't care how long Sasuke spent under the tutelage of Orochimaru/Madara/whichever shady af figure he could learn forbidden and equally-shady-af jutsus from, NOTHING would beat the near-endless amounts of chakra that Naruto possesses due to the Kyūbi. Unless Sasuke learns to KEEP RUNNING whenever Naruto shows up (and even THAT would still be considered as evasion and not actual "fighting"), then there's NO WAY IN HELL that Sasuke would be the last one standing in a drawn out, not-won-until-both-are-finished battle against Naruto. THANK YOU for answering my silent prayer. *bows*
Also, the InoSaku interactions and Tsunade finally breaking her desk bc her apprentice's safety was compromised? ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS *coos*
Sakura's perspective on everything that's going on is most definitely accurate, and I just about leapt up for damn JOY when she got to Madara at the last minute in their fight.

This story was not what I was expecting, but I'm pleasantly surprised, to say the least. Most fics depict Sakura as still being hopelessly devoted to Sasuke, even if it is dulled down, so it is very interesting to see her be rsther indifferent towards him. Sasuke has me rather intrigued by his thought process, and I'm glad you kept his revenge streaktoo many stories show him coming back to Konoha with a drop of a hat and its clearly not something he would canonly do. The Akatsuki's possible usage for Sakura is thought provoking as well. Sure the reckless, deadly fools could definitely used a medic, but I bet they have something else up their sleeves. Needless to say, Im excited for the next update!
