First fic I read that has Papa Kirk in it! So exciting :)

I only just found your story and I like it so far, I just hate that they have to hide the fact that they found a version of Jim's father and now have to hide him. I know I would loved to seen just how Winnona would have reacted upon seeing him. I only wish that they could have told Star Fleet even if they had to keep his real identity a secret. I like that you have Jim and Spock together and that they just like any couple are going through the growing pains of a relationship with all the doubts and worry like are they serious enough that they are exclusive to seeing only each other and then like with Spock showing up like that and Jim trying to hide the puppy from him making Spock starting to think Jim is hiding someone from him because he is already bored with him. I kind of like that because it just makes them like any other couple who are falling in love with each other and to find that real trust that will make their relationship last. I do hope that you will be updating soon.

Oh no, now I'm scared. Oo Please say Spock isn't going to do something stupid and Ignore Jim if he calls. Or that Spock is going to be twisting with anxiety over whether Jim has really gotten bored of him. Spock really needs to have some faith in Jim, didn't he get any information from Jim in the meld? Jim knows Spock was pinning for him for three years for crying out loud. I say time for another mind meld, and make-up sex, after Spock is gifted a puppy of course. Which I'm sure is a lot like Jim and Spock will probably name her something close to that.

I love this story so far! Poor Jim having all this thrown at him! I think you capture the characters really accurately. As tough as Jim is, you can't expect a person to die and then just get over it like that now that they're alive.
