sorenalice chapter 1 . 10/1/2013 Thank you so much for ripping my heart out and dancing on it |
Invader Johnny chapter 1 . 10/1/2013 Well I think being an orphan itts indeed quite sad and that was pretty well written in this fic, sadly Danny never really lived his life and technically it was out of Vlad wanting to help him, which makes it more tragic. Invader Johnny Signing Off. |
MsFrizzle chapter 1 . 10/1/2013 Well this certainly fit the bill for Danny Angst Day. You had some interesting insights. Of course Danny feels horribly guilty about cheating which lead to the accident or surviving when his family hadn't but I hadn't considered the added guilt of Danny thinking about if he had renounced his Dad earlier they would all still be alive. You comment at the end about Danny being an orphan struck a cord. I suppose in movies and books and such is often the little kid but on reading your comment I suddenly got a mental flash of my father (who passed away 20 years ago) when his mother died. He was a grown man with almost grown kids (I was in my late teens) but I remember thinking at my grandmother's funeral that at that moment he looked like a lost little boy. It's odd how the word strikes at any age. |
