I enjoy the story, I like the idea of Pitch and how he interacts with Sophie, although I think it can be confusing who it is that's speaking when you don't break the sentences. When a new person is speaking, you should have what they said be in the next sentence instead of keeping it in the same sentence or paragraph of what the other character has said. This way it will help avoid confusion for the reader on trying to figure out who is speaking. Also, being a bit clearer in your story would help as you have mentioned to darthcat that you tend to do that. However, I enjoyed what you have written regardless and I do hope you continue with the next chapter and haven't given up. I've been waiting for over three years for an update, I assume you're busy, but I hope not too busy. ;3
