GuidingHand chapter 13 . 7/6 You did a great job maintaining their personalities in a unique situation. |
MewWinx96 chapter 13 . 6/21/2018 Hi! I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this story and thank you for writing it! :) |
Darian Clarke chapter 13 . 5/2/2015 This was, as are all your stories, outstanding. If I might make one observation, the Asgardian term for Earth is Midgard, not Misgard. :-D Your portrayal of the characters and how they might behave in the situations in which you put them is really quite good. I can hear their voices when they speak! Thanks for writing—don't stop. |
BoomerCat chapter 13 . 8/24/2014 This story has all the best features of a sixties spy story and a current buddy story. The first part, the hero waking up in a mental institution with no memory but a certain feeling that everything is just plain wrong, could have been a James Bond or, my favorite, a Man from UNCLE episode. It has that flavor and feel to it, and it is just done so well. A sixties spy episode, however, would have ended with the hero having rescued himself, and the next you would have seen him, he'd be out saving the world again. But you give us the second part, where we see behind the curtain, that surviving isn't really all that easy. Bruce's guilt, Clint's lingering paranoia, and Tony's absolute mania for getting answers are so much more satisfying than just saying everything's hunky-dory now. I like the extra touches of Fury treating Tony like a porcelain doll, and Natasha being totally Natasha, seemingly cold and uncaring, but still delivering retribution to the sinister Dr. Norris. And OMG, can't wait for the next in the series where we find the evil villain, Charlie, in wait. (How did you know my favorite name for a kitty is Charlie? LOL!) 1 |
Autumnights chapter 13 . 12/22/2013 Initially, I was intrigued. Then confused, then stunned, then gripping the edge of my seat as you had me questioning the fabric of reality. I really didn't Know what was going on, if this story was AU or not, for the first few chapters. Then things got interesting. Really interesting. Wonderful read. Great character development, steady suspense and build up, and opening for more. I look forward to reading more of your work. |
Book girl fan chapter 13 . 12/20/2013 It's strange, the assassin is the one who is happiest with his life, and where he is. Weird. |
maurobar chapter 13 . 12/20/2013 Very good ending. No miracle cure and suddenly being back to normal. The guys hopefully will recover in time. I look forward to reading about it. |
discordchick chapter 13 . 12/15/2013 So I really liked this story. It was fun interesting and emotionally crazy to read the whole way through. No rest for the wicked sounds really great! I hope that it's Clint whump! And Tony being all guilty/heroy too. You rock! |
LiveAndLetRain chapter 13 . 12/15/2013 This has been a wonderful trip down the rabbit hole. You brought me to tears, and it was well worth it. Thank you for sharing. |
DBhawkguy30 chapter 13 . 12/15/2013 I'm a huge fan of your stories, they manage to pull you in and leave you sitting in a corner, rocking back and forth until the next chapter comes out lol I really enjoyed this story, all the angst, friendship and nail biting wondering if they were going to get out of there kept me on the edge of my seat/bed. Brilliant writing, thank you! |
DBhawkguy30 chapter 12 . 12/15/2013 This chapter was awesome...Thor coming to the rescue, Bruce just wanting to be normal (even though he was in a mental institute) lol, Steve getting his shield back, Natasha kicking ass, Tony helping to save his friend/team mate, poor Clint is just not all there...poor guy. Awesome! |
bluesunVM chapter 13 . 12/14/2013 I really enjoyed this story, thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to the next one where we learn more about Charlie and the point of the whole exercise. |
TheNaggingCube chapter 13 . 12/14/2013 Yes, utterly believable that Clint couldn't be offered a new life because he liked his current one. Poor Bruce. Enjoyed this angsty adventure and looking forward to your next one! |
JRBarton chapter 13 . 12/14/2013 I like how in the end all of your stories are tied up, I've been following you for a while now and you definitely are one of my favourite writer. I hope it's not long before I have the pleasure of reading something more from you. Happy holidays, cheers |
