Reviews for Weaves of Destiny
The Grey Coincidence chapter 88 . 2/4
I had a feeling Ubel was still arround and I am glad that that turned out to be true! in him you have crafted an excellent villain :)

Also a big fan of Martin and Smalltooth's 'smalltalk' ;) and I love the explenation you have for how Smalltooth would go on to know what was going on with the bad guys. I'm glad Smalltooth is still alive, and although Violet will be missed I liked her scene with Aldwin.

Windflight will no doubt serve as a fun point of view character, mistrustful of Ubel, but also in need of him.

Keep up the good work,

CasterWay chapter 85 . 1/25
Concluding things is hard, but you do a wonderful job as always. Ubel and Seien’s deaths are especially well done, even if their death scenes aren’t exactly shown. You actually kinda feel sad for them in some way or form. It’s kinda weird to see a fic end, but I’m sure you’ll wrap everything up perfectly.
The Grey Coincidence chapter 85 . 1/25
This is easily one of the most exciting climaxes I've read in a looooong time. I love that you're still trudging on with this fic, it has been an inspiration in many ways and I eagerly await the potential sequel.
Keep up the good work,

CasterWay chapter 83 . 1/12
I would like to congratulate you for persevering for so long. Using more than six years to write a single piece of work is pure dedication, and I tip my hat off for you. Keep up the good work.

You handle action scenes very well, with the chaos spreading everywhere, but not too much so that the audience cannot catch up. The magic is also well written - one of the best soft magic systems I have read anywhere.

Character development is also a high point, with everyone having time for themselves, and all beasts get their backstories. We understand them completely and fully.

The biggest problem with this fic is it sacrificing depth for variety too much, but I suppose this happens in all widespread fics. Oh, and probably updating too little. But anyways, the next update is one to be awaited. And the next. And the next. Until the end. Then, if you decide to write a sequel, we will follow.

May your heart be your guiding key. We'll wait for you, here or Discord.
Mazianni chapter 78 . 10/28/2019
Update! Very happy to see, I remain a great fan of this work.

Sad to hear the fic is almost over, but excited to see how it all ends.

Hopefully a good ending for our warlady Kethra; very much my favorite, I think.
In all honesty, I shall have to re-read this whole series at some point, as in the time that has passed I have somewhat forgotten the scope of the story.

Bless you for your continued efforts
keldor314 chapter 76 . 7/22/2019
Two terrible mistakes that one night long ago led to this. Akkla knows for certain about the first one, and realizes the second, I think, even if she won't admit it.

We shall see if she has the courage to confront her past mistakes.
keldor314 chapter 77 . 7/22/2019
Willag just said something very interesting indeed. About Akkla's prophacy being broken with Heddin's death. But if her prophacy was broken, might not the same thing happen with Violet's? We can only hope.
keldor314 chapter 75 . 5/9/2019
It seems that Ubel doesn't actually want Seien dead... yet. He does seem to want Ulakhai dead, though, or why else would he have given Seien the poison? We shall see what choice Seien makes.
The Grey Coincidence chapter 75 . 5/9/2019
Ewalt and Smalltooth have escaped! Hurrah! Although things aren't looking too good for Seien, which is a shame because I like him XD. The rats inside Floret are rebelling and the climax is just around the corner. I hope Seien survives this story, but I'm not sure. I agree with the fan theory that Smalltooth is the one telling this story (it fits) although that does make me wonder will Ewalt survive...
There's a lot of death on the horizon...
Update soon
One-Eye the Wildcat chapter 1 . 12/29/2018
want moar.
The Grey Coincidence chapter 72 . 3/31/2018
Hmmm, I have strong doubts Ubel is actually doing anything helpful for poor frightened Seien. Looks like Smalltooth's folks were pretty big back in the Land of Ice and Snow. I hope Ewalt knows what he's doing and am also curious as to what he's planning.
As usual good chapter with lots of mystery, and looking forwards to the next. There's no rush. I can be patient.
Update soon.
Guest chapter 71 . 1/25/2018
How do you write this story so long? Five years?
The Grey Coincidence chapter 71 . 1/24/2018
Oh my god you left the fate of Ewalt and Smalltooth ambiguous-noooooopooo! Anyways nice more exposition onto good old Suran. And Tezza is dead... I never liked her much but still sad to see her go after she survived so much.
Update soon.

Okay, I'm not the best reviewer... But I'll give it my bestshot anyways.
The first book was probably my favorite. All because of Marroch, he was such a cool character, all calm and calculative and stuff. I really thought he was gonna win, and I was so gutted when he died. Then the archer kept on trying to kill Ublaz-and I was desperately clinging on to the hopes that it was Marroch, who had somehow survived and was still trying to get his revenge. I wanted it to be him, but alas that looks unlikely now what with the Treestalker reveal. I'm still hopeing that it *might* be Marroch, but that's just me being all desperate. Sigh, I do hope he is remembered as a hero at least...
I liked Spikepelt, I don't know why exactly, but he didn't do much aside from almost burning alive. And it felt like a waste when he died, we could have seen the vermin suffer through the Axehound stuff, and perhaps it would be the ferret's suffering that opened Torbit's eyes a little. Sure his death did it as well, but the slow torment of life under the otters would have been a better eye opener I feel.
Smalltoooth is another favorite of mine, going from scrawny midget with luck, to still slightly cowardly, but otherwise toughened warrior. I have a strange feeling Smalltooth is the recorder, as he has shown the most growth so far.
I am now actively rooting for Treestalker's survival. Ublaz is also pretty cool, and you can't help but feel sorry for Seien. He never asked for any of this.
Your characters are so wonderfully complex, it's this level of complexity that I love and aspire to have in my stories and characters.
I also get strong GRRM vibes reading your work. Another thing I like. From the trial by combat, to the knowledge of armour's god-damn usefulness, you know your stuff mate! There are more things that remind me of GRRM, but I can't think of right now. But if you have never read or seen his work then just consider that I feel the same reading your fanfics as I do reading a fully published multi-novel series.
I can truly write essays about your characters. Ublaz, Marroch, Sovna, Kethra-you have created art my friend, congratulations and please:
Update soon!
The Grey Coincidence chapter 36 . 12/13/2017
I liked Spikepelt, he was fun. Scared and pathetic as he is. I'll miss him as much as Marroch.
