Will Horton’s words would likely resonate with many of the characters after the events of “Away From Here”, as well as readers.

“Shorts 2” is a necessary and incredibly well-written segue between “Away From Herethe second full installment of this epic saga) and “Who I Amthe third).

This story gives the reader brief snapshots into the lives of the saga’s main characters (Chad DiMera, Will Horton, Sonny Kiriakis, Dario Hernandez, EJ DiMera, and Sami Brady DiMera) and their families, picking up after the events of January 2012 and progressing into the Summer of 2013.

In these brief “Shorts”, the author shows us the aftermath from “Away From Here”. Lives have been shattered, secrets still lurk around every corner, and villains revel in their accomplishments. The reader will get to witness the characters attempt to put their lives back together, despite so many broken hearts and promises.

Some original characters are featured heavily in these shorts, including the charming and mysterious Ezra as well as the adorable Kai. In addition, a host of legacy characters make appearances, such as Dr. Marlena Evans, Eric Brady, Nicole Walker, Billie Reed, and Max Brady. Most notably, Lexie and Abe Carver take center-stage in arguably the best chapter and deliver some highly emotional scenes. Finally, it’s also worth sharing that Nicholas Alamain makes a return to Salem.

For fans of Days of Our Lives and this incredible alternate universe created by the author, reading “Shorts 2” will help prepare you for what’s to come in “Who I Am”.
