| a spark in the embers chapter 1 . 11/14/2013 This was really well written - especially how Levi becomes more jaded time after time. I especially like the second to last one - the one where they're children, and they die almost immediately, by the ocean, and Levi already KNOWS. Augh. Angst. It was initially hard to take your story seriously, though, when I saw the title. It seemed...like a beginner writer, which, stereotypically, involves terrible grammar and plot. But you surprised me, in a good way. Maybe you want to change it? The summary already says what the fic is about - you could change the title to something more symbolic of the fic in general. Don't have to listen to me - I'm just stating my opinion. Keep writing! |

You managed to break my heart over and over, wishing that she wouldn't die, but knowing she would anyway. No wonder Levi is so expressionless right now. I know that this is a fic and all but still... Oh my god, I still can't believe I read this... I don't know why, but I especially love that part of them being together with the titans... What is wrong with me... Poor Levi... This story was amazing, tragic and beautiful. You did a fantastic job in doing this. |

I think you did really well with Levi and Petra's past selves (to me, they still felt like themselves... like, they felt like Levi and Petra), and the situations you put them in were pretty unique; none of them felt repetitive or anything. And the ending, ahh. So sad and touching. They should grow old together and die peacefully in their sleep next life. ;3 |
