this is sooo well built and exciting. layer upon layer of intrigue, surprises, different, defined personalities, teyla, my girl,being a dumbbunny, she cannot drop sweet in luvvv john. seele is too badass.

Love this chapter... I've been rereading starting from In Choice and Freedom; it's so nice to go back and see how Oneakka and Seeal develop. I think this chapter was a milestone. Also, friggin love the goat-not-goat, she's amazing.

First I have to say that I am really impressed and taken with this whole Alternate Universe you have created. Your writing style makes this version seam real. The descriptions of everything paint clear pictures in the mind. The whole story sucks you in to wear you are seeing the story unfold in your mind. I really like it. Okay, I'm sorry for bothering you with this question. But I have to understand one part of your story line. Being retired military I can understand the guilt of Teyla, and can even understand the mistaken feelings that she needs to end things with John (I did the same thing a couple of times during my service). But why is she going for a political marriage? I didn't quite follow her explanation to Torran. I took a couple of hits to the head in the service so sometimes things can slip through and confuse me. Is it possible you could "dumb down" the reason for me. And for the record I have read all of this story from the start through this interlude within this past week. I just read through this entire series. It is amazing both in the world building and the characterization. I notice you have not posted anything in a while and I hope there will be more forthcoming at some point in the future. It would be a shame to leave a saga like this unfinished.

I actually re-read this tale, while awaiting the next installment. This one was very well done. A "non John/Teyla" story never holds my interest long enough to read it once even, but this one did. Well done!
However...it's been way too long since you've posted something and I'm really missing it. I hope RL isn't being too hard on you!
I just want to let you know that I, for one, absolutely love all of your stories and will be here when you are ready to post the next one. I will simply re-read stories for now. And thank you so much for keeping our "love" alive.

She said it. Finally, Teyla admits to herself she loves John. *sigh* And she's still leaving to marry someone else. My heart hurts. It's not broken yet, but I'm sure it'll get there the moment she tells John the truth about what she's been doing.

I was thrilled to see new chapters...inching closer to the reveal of what will happen with Teyla's planned political marriage...and/or what else might happen. Oh, the suspense! I am loving every bit of your story arc and am anxiously awaiting the beginning of the next Alliance story. Thank you for continuing to write!

Nice to see the new post. I'm simultaneously looking forward to the next section and treading it. Sheppard will not be happy. Keep up the great writing. There aren't enough good stories with Sheppard and Teyla being posted anymore. If you happen to work on the final days too that would be great. Awesome work once again.
