Please, I really need that you update this incredible story. I love it soooo much! I cant wait to know what happened to Kenji. PLEASE UPDATE!

i stumbled upon this anime/manga only this year and have been desperately looking for more YamaShitzu fics. I love how well thought of this story is and how spot-on the characterization and thought process are. I hope you have not dropped this story entirely. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

Okay. So I binged this entire story in one sitting. It was a marvellous 5 hours and the fact this is all in kenjis view is just incredible. You write him so well and the fact he’s still so in love with Mitty actually warms my heart.

You put such depth into this story... from mittys family drama, to haru’s incident and just kenji trying to win her over has been incredible. I’m probably going to reread this again and again because you are so talented. I held my breath when looking at the update date, expecting it to be 3 years ago and that this story was abandoned. But imagine the wonderful surprise that this was just updated a few months ago. You ended chapter 20 with the biggest cliffhanger so I really do hope you continue!

When I first read this series years ago, I really liked Haru and Shizuku. Now that I'm older and rereading it, I find myself uncomfortable with the push and pull of their relationship, and I think Kenji was a very well-written love rival in the sense that I could really see him as a better fit for Shizuku. I don't want to be an echo of all the reviews that came before me, but you've written such a beautiful story. All the characters are so true to the original, and the way you pace everything is so good. Despite being started 7 years ago, it still feels like a consistent story, which is very commendable. I've been reading this every free moment I could, and I'm really excited for what happens next!

Ughhh this is too cute and too sweet... If only though... If only all of this were cannon... If only he had chosen yamaken. I flippin love Haru and they're so adorable together... But bruhhh... Yamaken with Shizuku... It just feels so right... But i know, all too well, that no matter how many fanfics I read (tho there's not much to read), fanarts, or doujinshis (does a Shizuken doujinshi even exist tho?)... It can never change the fact that.. Well, he lost. He lost her to him. Though I love and support Haru and Shizuku 's ship... Shizuken just makes more sense, and imo, better for the long-run..

Yamaken and Shizuku are really perfect together!

I'm kind of glad I found this fanfic as late as I did. I was able to binge read 20 chapters of pure fun. You've done a great job of conveying the characters' personality while showing the development they've had as they've gotten older.

I recently watched the live action movie and decided to revisit the manga. See 13 year old me absolutely loved Hari. I thought he was great, friendly, funny and protective. But reading it now again made me realise how complex he actually is as a character. I think he has the sort of personality that makes him a good friend(loyal, kind to people he likes and always stands up to them), but he makes a terrible boyfriend. He was never mature enough to realise Shizuku had a life outside of him and got angry when he was 'neglected' in favor of others. While the almost pushing Yamaken scene is highly quoted, it's how he never seemed to consider Shizuku in their arguments that really bothered me, especially after Yuzan's party.

This was especially obvious to me this time around as I paid more attention to Sasayan. While Haru and Shizuku are often considered complementary because of their unabashed honesty, people seem to forget how straightforward Sasayan was with his feelings for Natsume. But his pursuit never pushed Natsume's comfort levels (an aspect I see greatly recognised in this fic). You've shown them both as their own individual characters who grow better together but aren't codependent. God I love these two together. However Sasayan's pursuit highlighted Haru even more.

On that note, I always thought Yamaken was a great suit for Shizuku and this fic delivers. They're both heavily goal oriented and have a clear vision of their lives. He's somewhat hesitant with his feelings but her bluntness suits it. I also adore that despite this being a Yamaken fic, you don't hide the influence that Haru had on Shizuku at that point of their lives. Because while they didn't suit, without him, she might not have understood the value of friends in her life.

I should end this now saying that this is amazing. I loved how you wrote everything. I saw this was started in 2013 and I'm impressed because it doesn't seem dated at all. I really thought this was all pieced together this year. Anyway there isn't any pressure for an update but the last bit was a cliffhanger and I'd love to see the motion you'll take for it.

Just so you know, I'm still following this story and still hoping for your next chapter. This is so beautiful and well-written. You updated last February this year. So I'm very hopeful that you're not gonna leave it just like this. Keep up the good work!
