I like to think that Grell, for all his flirtations with Sebastian, truly did love Madam Red in his own way. Grim Reaper or not, if she really had meant nothing to him he would never have taken her coat and faithfully wear it from that point on in the series. That's not taking a trophy from your kill, that's holding onto a cherished momento.

This is marvellous , amazing , awesome ! You captured Grell's character so well and I could feel him feel like that ( if that make any sense to you ) . The end was particulary powerful . This is really well written. Madam Red and Grell's relationship is a very strange one, and I can imagine seeing something like this happening. You did a really good job getting Grell's perspective on this. Overall, this is extremely good :D!
