CokeZeroAddict chapter 2 . 10/14/2013 Amazing. I wish I had something more to say but that pretty much sums it up. |
writerfan2013 chapter 2 . 10/1/2013 Nice. Lots of great awkwardness. I love awkwardness and saying or confessing things which are hard. Watson's joke about hood help was spot on and v in character for her. It could also work for Sherlock, though, and I puzzled over the paragraphs for a moment to be sure. Thanks again for sharing, and will there be more? No sign of S2 in the UK yet, so no spoilers please! -Sef |
writerfan2013 chapter 1 . 10/1/2013 Marvellous! Like the notion of anger as a fabric, a barrier, then picked up again as the dense blocks of rage form a wall between Watson's tumultuous emotions and Moriarty. Yay too for the description of Moriarty's makeover and Watson's unspoken (accepted, taken for granted -worry, can't find the word I really mean!) love for Sherlock. You are such a precise writer. Every word on for sharing. -Sef |
Forensiphile chapter 2 . 9/29/2013 I've been waiting eons for this fic! I've always wanted to read these conversations unfold. You captured them so well!,Awesome work! |
marshmallowdeviant chapter 2 . 9/27/2013 This was the discussion I was hoping I'd get to see but never saw! So thank you for that. *breathes deep over pent up exasperation* ;) We get a rare insight into how Sherlock feels about what Irene/M has said and done to him and as usual I agree your observations wholeheartedly. There's a dose of Sherlock self blame mingled with hurt and anger and then Joan's sympathy. Sigh. Love the humour at the end- so very them :) x |
marshmallowdeviant chapter 1 . 9/27/2013 Love the Legos as units of anger- really strong image. This is great. It touches on Joan's anger at Irene/Moriarty on Sherlock's behalf- I thought this was skimmed over a little on the show and she was livid- you could see it. Lovely milestone to the closeness of their partnership, too. Loved this x |
Dina C chapter 2 . 9/26/2013 Love this glimpse of them when they're down, at their lowest ebb. It shows their humor, their smarts, and their wonderful humanity. Thanks so much for these special little pieces you write. I enjoy them so much. :-) |
Dina C chapter 1 . 9/26/2013 The blocks being forged were a wonderful metaphor for her units of rage, fear, pain, stress, and loss. And overall it helps paint a picture of Joan who is so loyal and faithful to Sherlock. It's a compelling testimony of her caring for him and his history. |
