WOW even thought Kirk was being a right bastard to do what he did some evil part of me was rooting for him. As for Leila, Spock should dump her and her fantasies and head for Uhura lol

First of all, the writing, as always, totally top notch. I have mixed feelings on the piece. Kirk is a manipulative jackass, who is perfectly willing to put Chapel out to pasture until he sees Spock interested. Christine is with Spock, but seems more angry than in love, and pretty bitchy. Lelia, is also manipulative and kind of bitchy. Spock is kind of a doofus who wants Christine, then he want's Lelia, and in the end isn't sure what he wants.

I kind of hate seeing Kirk and Lelia "win" in the end. I'm kind of okay with Spock sort of losing in the end, cause what the what he didn't make much of an effort to be faithful to Christine.

Maybe part of it is we never got a clear idea if Christine was in love with Spock or he was just a booty call (or a way to make Jim jealous).

It was an interesting story, even if for me the ending was sort of sad.

Mixed feelings on this one. Liked the fic, the story, the writing all awesome but while I normally like your Kirk/Chapel fic, in this one I really disliked Jim. I felt like he got rewarded for being a bit of a scumball and he manipulated things... Pure Jim Kirk, but when it comes to manipulating to win Christine - blatantly manipulating - he'd lost his charm factor. Frankly I wanted Christine to tell him to where he could go. Since you're taking requests can I whine for Sarek to get another go with the girl... PLEASE?

Wow. I sort of hated Jim in this... he's such a manipulative pr**k. And I hope Chris ruins Leila... she's a lot smarter and could certainly make trouble for her. She could have Leila off the ship in no time! Though letting Spock discover that Leila's a bit of a bimbo with the all the depth of a pie plate might be even more satisfying for Christine, LOL.

I am just so impressed by this story. You managed to capture the inner emotions of not one but four characters and, in the process, added dimension to each of them. We were able to sympathize with each one. Despite the story, you captured the humor of star trek. Loved the subtle fun you poked at the Shat's voicing of Kirk and those smile descriptions where captivating. The dialogue was flawless, as always. Thanks again!

well written but I just don't see Chris with anyone but Spock and Leila is just a one off

I don't know the first thing about Star Trek, but I think I'm addicted to the lovely things you write and everything that it makes me feel. So utterly satisfying.
