Of course, this is a fanfiction. It doesn't have to mimic the real world to a tee. Creative licence is a lovely thing.

Yay! I looooved it! And this omake is a perfect (for me at least) closure for the story! I liked seeing how life was for them after Takao made the decision of quitting his team. They are a sweet and hot couple! Heh Midorin made me smile with his sometimes crude comments :D
But what I loved the most was seeing Takao's good friends and also Kaito (a nice surprise) appearing and having dinner with them. Takao deserves having a good time with his old friends. Some people have turned their backs on him but at least there are others that truly like him and respect him.

You made Midorima of this fic choose the Medicine course, correct? Since he's studying med, he can't play an all out game in college. Med is a course you need to dedicate your life to, I'm not being dramatic here, I'm being realistic. I know, I'm studying the med course too, and I don't want to brag but, even though I was told I have a high average IQ, Med is never easy because what you need isn't logic but time and patience and memorization. Therefore, there has to come a point where he needs to quite playing basketball. He could still play it as his sport and hobby but participating in the nationals or tournaments is a big no.

For your propose ending I kinda don't like it but I can't think of an alternate one. This is just my opinion by the way and hopefully I said something useful to you. Luck on the following chapters.
