I would have loved to see this scene. The tentative banter mixed with the onslaught of emotions was perfect.

“Perfect,” she says, “I’d love a walk.”

Her heart flutters a little.

Ummmm, are you implying something about Kensi's likes (or their intimate life) with this? Perhaps Ms. Blye isn't always the one on top, or rather doesn't mind being the bottom? Sure sounds like it. Makes me think about that basement in Neighborhood Watch, and all the fun that could have been had there.

Such a good post ep fic! The structure of this story I really like, how the aftermath all plays out and then the last two time skips to tie it all up, very heart warming after such a sad scene between them. I think you write Kensi so well, her trying to communicate about feelings openly is not something we see very often on the show even though she does the watery eyes and loaded questions so well (that "... And everyone?" in 5x01 killed me). I hope we see some sort of real conversation about what happened soon in the season and I hope it plays out a bit like this!
